This document provides the course syllabus for the Administrative Process and Human Behavior in Organization course offered at Romblon State University. Course Title: Administrative Process and Human Behavior in Organization

Course Description:
The Course in Administrative process and human behavior in organization aims to inspire the graduate students to be aware of themselves in the organization. The course will be effectively using
experiential learning pedagogy to achieve such aim in the empowerment of individual and interpersonal behavior, group behavio r, change and effects, emerging aspects of organizational behavior and case problems. It
is expected that the students will be able to apply the knowledge, concepts and skills they gain in experiential learning in the course.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course,the graduate students are expected to:
Preliminary Lecture:
Describe learning; explain social behavior and how to manage one’s own behavior; and explain individual career management.
Chapter Learning Objectives:
LO1 Define what OB is and explain the OB theories and management, and explain the approach to managing individuals’ behaviorwithin an organizational setting;
LO2 Discuss individual differences, the nature of personality, the characteristics of personality, the nature of ability, an explanation of emotions and perceptions; explain the models of personality as well as the
biases and problems in perception;
LO3 Describes values, discusses the characteristics of work attitudes; LO3.1 Explain work attitudes; LO3.2 describe the types of values, explain, work moods, and the theories of job satisfaction;
LO4 Explain organizational culture and ethics; LO4.1 discuss socialization and culture; LO4.2Describe socialization stages,explain the factors determining an organization’s culture;
LO5 Discuss the different motivational theories and concepts, such as Maslow’s theory, Alderfer’s theory, Herzberg’s theory, Mccleland’s theory, Adam’s theory; Explain theory X and theory Y, theory Z;
Explain empowerment.
LO6 Explain the nature of leadership; Describe the trait theories, the contingency model as well as the path-goal theory,as well as the various leadership styles;
