all be used to define the word "discipline". If I could define it in my own words, I would say that "discipline" is something you need to learn or be

If there was no discipline, people would do whatever they wanted and make terrible mistakes without putting the consideration of others first and
foremost. Lack of discipline means lack of self–restraint and control. The result of that is not only harmful but catastrophic. It will make it difficult for
you to differentiate right from wrong and see the long–term effects of your actions. If you put your mind to it, you can learn to develop discipline and
prevent these harmful thing from happening. Now what does the religion Islam say about discipline? Well, according to Al–Islam.com, discipline and
control in Islam is not equal to dictatorship. For example, good parents take into consideration the age and understanding of the child, his or her
circumstances, and other relative factors. Rules are then made accordingly. Important points are also stated such as: when disciplining a child, the
parent should refrain from becoming a dictator. A rule is not to be followed because "I say so" but because it is the right thing to do. Also another
important point that stood out to me was to be in control of yourself when you are disciplining or being disciplined and when a mistake has been
made, to let the person make amends. This is a part of Islam. Forgiveness. Islam is not about having anger in our hearts, it is about peace. If you are
practicing the religion Islam, you have to also strive to be a good Muslim. Am I a good Muslim? No. Do I
