Much this Residence Time is too long much probability coming follows problems: - gas - pyrolysis - burns All kind of this problems causing big aesthetically problem on the surface of part and also Mechanical problems Scope of this experience is to apply PolyPlus Masterbatch with PP 40% wood pulp and process both with 30°C temperature less than standard temperatures haven't problems described above. - 22. Rev 1/23/07 Final Consideration The addition of 2% PolyPlus reduces the shear stress within the plasticizing screw. This allows to process PP 40% wood pulp more 30 ° C less standard temperature without cavities filling problems and screw pressure plasticizing increase. This allows to: - Reduce the degradation during Residence Time in Screw Barrel - eliminating any problems like: gas, pyrolysis and burns - nothing aesthetically and mechanical problems on Injected Parts - using standard injection speed (nice for any polymer degradation problem) - standard % white masterbatch addition - no auto-ignition melt purging - with 99% Rmp screw not melt temperatures increasing © Copyright Keytech S.r.l. confidential documents, unauthorized copying
