INTRODUCTION:
I am an adaptable, responsible and result-driven professional looking for employment in a
progressive company where communication, desktop publishing, organisational and management
skills will be utilised. I am seeking for a dynamic position which will give me the opportunity to
develop new skills while strengthening those I already have.
While acquiring a degree in the Russian Federation helped me develop a desire and ability to
work in a multicultural environment, my work experience at Times Pritpak Zambia Limited
allowed me to transmute my professional knowledge into practical skills. I am capable of
working with minimum supervision even under pressure and I have a drive to see tasks through
to completion.
I have a dynamic approach to work and I am capable of working on my own initiative, as well as
in a team to accomplish given assignments. I consider integrity, diligence, discipline and
honesty to be my topmost values. I have good articulation, a sharp mind to grasp new
information quickly and I can easily adapt to new environments.

Solidarity Global Enterprise Limited
Position: Farm Manager, Company Secretary
Solidarity Global Enterprise Limited (SGEL) is a family business with its main focus on
farming. I was appointed farm manager owing to my passion and knowledge in farming,
particularly pig farming. During the over-one-and-a-half year I spent at the SGEL farm, I helped
design and construct the first four piggeries and helped choose the first breeders for the
company.
With intent to reduce running costs, I took private studies and learnt how to formulate homemade
3. feed for the pigs. I employed workers and taught them how to care for the pigs from birth to
furrowing.
During my stay at the SGEL farm, I also introduced growing of soya beans, which is one of the
vital components used when making pig feed. I also helped set up a solar power system at the
farm which is used to pump water and for lighting during the night.
I am currently an executive consultant of SGEL.

SPEAK ENGLISH LINGUISTIC CENTER, MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Position: Teacher of English language
I taught intermediate English to Russian adults in groups of 8-10 people. I was responsible for
making effective teaching plans for my groups and designing ways to assess their progress
before the examination sessions. This job enabled me improve my English vocabulary and my
ability to share knowledge effectively. It also helped me sharpen my presentation skills and

NEWSPAPER “GAZETTA”, MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Position: Translator/Editor
This industrial practice was a unique opportunity to transform the knowledge I had gained from
the university into result-oriented skills. As an English speaking employee, who was also fluent
in Russian language, I used to translate articles from Gazetta’s partners – The Sun and The Daily
Telegraph – from English to Russian. The articles I translated covered a wide range of subjects
from economics to politics. This position enabled me to significantly grow both my English and
Russian vocabularies. Working in a national daily newspaper helped me to learn how to remain
productive even when working under pressure, as meeting the deadline was one of the most
important mandates given to every employee.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY OF PRINTING ARTS, RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Specialist’s Degree in Publishing and Editing (September 2005 – July 2010)
Specialisation: Management in Publishing
The first three years were dedicated to the art of editing various types of publications and to
desktop publishing. We studied and analysed different styles of writing, and also explored
computer programmes that are commonly used in desktop publishing.
During specialisation, the studies were broadened to encompass the entire publishing industry;
from the inception of an idea for a publication even up to how a published product reaches the
5. consumer. This equipped us with knowledge and skills to be competent professionals in the
different departments of media companies and organisations from diverse sectors.
Final Year Project: “Organisational and managerial aspects in the work of a modern
editor”. In this project I came up with concepts and principles that define the work of a modern
editor. I examined carefully why modern editors should have professional knowledge in
management and how they can apply this knowledge in their daily work. I expounded that
modern editors who specialised in organisational and managerial skills could work competently
in any field were this knowledge of expertise is applicable, hence the globalisation of the
editorial profession.
