OBJECTIVE
I am seeking a full time position to teach multiple levels of Spanish, and if needed beginning levels of French,
at a school where I can contribute to the overall life of the community beyond the class room. In addition to
teaching, I am passionate in working with students to develop leadership skills as an advisor to clubs and
student organizations. I endeavor to design lessons that reinforce interdisciplinary learning as well as
supporting the mission of the school.
I teach Spanish in an immersion setting where the students are hearing and using the target language inside
and outside the classroom. My students thrive, and a large number go on to minor in Spanish at the collegiate
level due to their ability to converse easily in the target language.
I am looking for a school environment where my personal commitment to the entire student’s academic and
social wellbeing is supported by a collaborative and collegial faculty.
