Colin O’Neal worked at Coverall North America as one of their top performing sales professionals. I had the
distinct pleasure of working with Colin as his manager during his time at Coverall. As his manager, I was
responsible for training Colin and ensuring he routinely exceeded his monthly quotas for dials, cold‐calls,
presentations, closes, closing ratio, and revenue.
One of Colin’s greatest attributes is his desire and willingness to learn and then immediately apply the newly
acquired knowledge. He does not wait for feedback; he routinely seeks it out, which is a testament to his
commitment in perfecting his craft.
Colin also has an innate ability to assimilate complex information and then break it down and communicate in
terms appropriate to his audience. Looking at this ability from a sales context, he is able to emulate the
actions and intelligence of his prospects and clients extremely well, which then results in fantastic bonding
capabilities and high levels of earned respect.
His work ethic was evident early on. He was always on time for work, whether reporting to the office or
getting into the field early, and was rarely absent. He worked very well in the office with his co‐workers and
thrived even more in the field. His closing ratio was above average and I do not recall him missing any of his
quotas.
Colin is a true sales professional. He works hard, and, more importantly, puts in the time needed to get better
at what he does. Suggest a book and he’ll read it. Suggest a sales approach and he’ll use it.
Colin will always be successful in whatever he does. And regardless of the industry or vertical, Colin will
always be in the top echelon of the highest performing sales professionals. He has my respect and my
recommendation.
