9.  ASL was developed as a language of its
own, it was not based on any previous
language.
 SEE was based on English.

10. ASL
 Distinct order of words.
 Very different from English.
 It can only be roughly translated to English.

11.  ASL users are typically, but not all, poor in
English.
 Incorrect order of words but yet so similar in
fashion.
 They usually had problems with helping
verbs.

12. Why?
 Most of the KSD students I have came across had
problems with English but why were they so similar
in the way they wrote English?
 Any ideas?

13.  Incorporation of ASL syntax and
grammatical rules into English as it is
written.
 It does not work that way because they
are completely different languages.
