9. Our beliefs about the world and ourselves are
like a steering wheel that stops us from going in
certain directions and keeps us going in others. If
you’re not sure what your beliefs are, just look
at the circumstances of your life. Whatever
results have been showing up in your life over a
period of time are a pretty accurate reflection of
your beliefs about yourself and your world.

11. • OUR BELIEFS ARE NOT ALWAYS TRUE...
Our beliefs help us get a sense of stability in a chaotic environment
– this is a good thing. It allows us to have a sense of security and
certainty, which can help us operate on a day-to-day basis. This
sense of certainty that beliefs give us is so comforting that we
often fail to remember a very important fact:
12. We can all look at the same situation and take a different view of it
because that is how we work as humans - ‘The map is not the
territory’ as it were. Our beliefs create part of our own mental map
about ourselves, other people and the world we inhabit. We do not
question these beliefs; they become automatic. SO – what would
happen if you questioned the ones that no longer serve you?
The most important opinion that a person has is about themselves.
This is generally set by age 12. Self-image is a lifetime collection of
all the attitudes and opinions of others. It creates our belief of
who/what we are.
The unconscious mind does not evaluate or judge; it cannot deal
with a negative. Everything is filtered through your perceptions –
you see what you expect and ignore the rest.
13. So, when you expect something to happen,
you can always find evidence to SUPPORT
what you BELIEVE…right or wrong.
Negative/limiting beliefs hold us BACK and
prevent us moving FORWARD.

15. FOCUS on what you want,
not what you fear!
What you FOCUS on is what you get!
Don’t focus on your goal,
Focus beyond your goal.
For example:
Don’t just see yourself walking across
the fire,
see yourself 3 feet beyond the fire.
18. When I am willing to examine and acknowledge
fear, it becomes my PARTNER.
Pushing THROUGH fear is less frightening than
living with the underlying guilt that comes with
the feelings of HELPLESSNESS, HOPELESSNESS and the
sense of SEPARATION it causes.
The most empowering way to release fear is to
go THROUGH IT.

go. Also defined as MENTORS / MODELING.
• Avoid people that are NEGATIVE. Surround yourself with
people that are POSITIVE.
• Avoid RUMOR - spreaders. “the little people.”
• Avoid people that don’t SUPPORT your goals and dreams.

• GET IN A POSITIVE STATE TO MAKE PERMANENT
CHANGE

• GRATITUDE is an ATTRACTING force, not
merely a reactionary EMOTION. GRATITUDE is
the attitude that opens our hearts to receiving
their desire, which means that we do not only
feel grateful when something pleasing occurs
in our lives. When we begin and end each day
“feeling” grateful and keep that feeling
throughout the day… we attract more and
more good in our lives!
