Overview
This Client Accounting and Tax Service position is with a family office/asset management
firm based in NYC. This position will provide accounting services to high-net-worth
individuals who are affiliated with this firm. The position will entail individual tax
accounting work as well as client/personal accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Prepare accounting reports such as net worth statements, cash flow and budgets.
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and foundations.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax filings for individuals.
• Correspond with tax authorities as required.
• Ensure that books and records are maintained accurately, including adjusting journal
entries.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients, outside professionals, vendors and other
departments within the company.
• Respond to client requests promptly and accurately.
Requirements
• Education: College degree in accounting.
• Experience: 3-5 years of related accounting/tax experience. CPA and/or CFP is
preferred but not required.

2. • Knowledge: MUST have experience with providing tax services to high net worth
individuals;
experience of the accounting side too is a plus.
• Currently in an accountant level position with hands on experience in accounting and
tax preparation for high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations and foundations.
• Organized, detail oriented, capable of multitasking, able to meet deadlines, excellent
communication skills.
• Proficiency of MS Excel, working knowledge of Word and familiarity with other
software applications required;
• Ability to become a proficient user of the Company’s primary accounting and reporting
system.
