Chris Plescia Executive Bio
1. Chris Plescia is the Global Head of Employee Collaboration,
Experience and Digital Operations for AIG. He is responsible
for transforming the workplace to improve productivity,
engagement and collaboration for 65,000 employees across the
globe. Through the Digital Operations Team, Chris plays a pivotal
role in increasing the Digital Quotient (DQ) of AIG; focusing on
the creation of a long-term digital strategy, implementing
financial and program management, governance and execution
rigor.
Viewed as a forward thinking leader and change agent with over
28 years of experience, Chris is best known for his passion, energy and ability to move
the organization forward through technical innovation, breakthrough thinking and game
changing solutions. Chris inspires his teams to think differently, believe and deliver
beyond what others think is possible.
Prior to joining AIG, Chris had a number of diverse senior executive roles at Nationwide
where he held leadership positions in IT, Marketing, Strategy and Product Management.
Most recently, he served as a Senior IT Executive over the Collaboration, Digital, Data
Information and Analytics teams. His teams received industry accolades for their
advancements in transforming the organization and implementing digital capability,
which reduced costs, grew sales and improved worker productivity.
Most notably, the Nationwide web and mobile apps were ranked highly in the industry
for ease of use, functionality and performance. The data analytics teams earned patents
and awards for innovative modeling methods leading to improved sales campaigns and
site personalization. With SPOT sm, the collaboration teams revolutionized the
traditional associate digital experience with mobile, social and sensor based
applications; creating a new productive way for employees to find, share, learn and
connect with each other.

Chris lives in Columbus Ohio where he and his wife Renee have two children. He is a
graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in MIS. Away from work, he
enjoys outdoor activities and is involved in the community as a track & field coach and a
board member for the Columbus Community Kitchen.
