USING ANALYTICS FOR
COST-EFFECTIVE MARKETING

Marketing analytics allow marketers to be more effective at their jobs
by reducing wasted marketing dollars. It permits essential insight into
customer preferences and trends. Unfortunately for start-ups, the budget
for marketing analytics is minimal, if not nonexistent. In this next Small
Business Breakfast series, we are going to discuss how marketing analytics
can help you become a more effective marketer. We will also direct you to
low cost resources that will help you get there.
Christina Gallegos is a Senior Marketing Strategy and Business Insights
Leader with strong data analytics and marketing management skills,
allowing her to identify market opportunities to increase revenues and
market share. She is recognized for driving revenue through strategic
pricing, customer segmentation models, and product marketing
campaigns. A dynamic leader who is passionate about building brands,
developing products and engaging with customers, she has worked with
top business brands including The Walt Disney Company, The Coca-Cola
Company, and Johnson & Johnson.
As a software engineer at Orincon, Armen Donigian helped commercialize
tracking software. His next challenge was to develop correction and orbit
tracking software for Jet Propulsion Laboratory and contributed to the
landing sequence of NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover. Bitten by the startup
bug, he joined Game Player Network to revolutionize monetization of
online games. Armen is currently part of the software engineering team at
Burner and a Professor of computer science and Pasadena City College. He
has a Masters in Software Engineering & Data Mining from USC and also
studied his MBA in Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Graziadio School of
Business and Management.
