It is my privilege to issue this reference letter for my dear colleague Mr. Christian Weidinger.
Since I hired Mr. Weidinger he reported directly to me from June 2006 until my relocation to
Germany in September 2009. During this time I got to know a dedicated, diligent, out of the
box thinking person who has never failed to fulfil any tasks assigned to him.
He has worked across Asia to bring modern marketing and sales techniques to our companies
in more than 10 countries and inspired superiors, peers and subordinates with his ability to
bring strategy and theoretical concepts to reality.
Mr. Weidinger orchestrated the successful visits of German politicians to our Global
Technology Assessment Center (GTAC). Among them Minister Uhlenberg, Minister for
Environment, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of Nordrhein-Westfalen and Mr. Wulff,
Prime Minister of the state of Lower Saxony. He organized multiple customer and employee
events and contributed to the German community in Japan by getting involved with activities
beyond his original job description.
After joining TUV Rheinland he learned very fast about our TIC industry and adapted within
shortest time to the service industry to promote enthusiastically our value proposition in an
ever increasing competitive market. Beside the business acumen that Mr. Weidinger brought to
the table already, he continued to hone his skills daily by developing new ideas and applying
them to our organization.
Beyond his business skills Mr. Weidinger can also be recommended for his personal character.
He is well liked by all parties interacting with him for being polite, honest, fair, friendly and
also good fun to hang out with after office hours. Our families shared some wonderful
moments together.
