2. Nowadays, technology is the most influential platform for sharing
knowledge, thoughts and ideas and is effective for archiving all
important data and information. Unlike in the past centuries, you must
have pen and paper before you can provide knowledge and share your
thoughts to a large quantity of audience also for keeping and having
copies of it which can produce books and some literary outputs.
Literary piece serves as a window or reflection of someone’s
viewpoint or principle about a specific matter which can affect or
influence others and even the whole world. There are different kinds of
literary piece and each of these must obtain important standards such
as artistry, intellectual value, suggestiveness, spiritual value,
permanence, universality and style to be effective. On my own
perspective, the three important literary standards which must be
always present in every literary piece are suggestiveness, universality
and style. Having these literary standards will make your work
meaningful and effective. It is necessary that your literary piece
possesses the quality of being suggestive because it allows your work to
evoke the emotion of your audience or readers. It shows powerful and
effective literary piece which can affect and influence the audience in
such a way that they will stand with your thoughts and principle. The
best example showing the quality of being suggestive is the writings of
our own national hero, Jose Rizal, the El Filibusterismo and Noli Me
Tangere which opens the eyes of Filipino during Spanish colonization to
get the freedom we deserve as a country and as an individual.

dig a deep place in our minds and heart and will create history

which will last forever. It only indicates that if the literary works achieve
the quality of being suggestive, it also achieves the quality of being
permanent or we also called as permanence. The second literary
standard which must be always present in every literary piece is the
universality. It is important that the literary piece reaches broad scope of
audience. The connection between the literary piece and readers are
important. Through the use of international language and phenomenon
allows the work to be understood and comprehend by the readers and
will create better connection between them. The third important literary
standard is style. Every author has its own style of writing which will
show the identities as a writer. Author’s style in writing defines who they
are and principles they have. Uniqueness in style of writing catches the
attention of the audience. The best example is J.K. Rowling and other
famous author. Literary standard is the foundation of a good literary
works which have a potential to change the world.
