It is an expression that contains numbers, letters or
variables and operation symbol.

It refers to the sum of one or more monomials. It is also

Instructions:
1. Get a sheet of paper.
2. Fold it into three Lengthwise.
3. Fold it into two crosswise.
4. Label the 2 folded square (length) as “x”
5. Label the 2 folded square (width) as “x”
6. Then the remaining side in the length as “1”

16. In Factoring Polynomials, Remember!
Rewriting a polynomial as product of polynomials of smaller degree.
The distributive property: a(b+c)=ab+ac
a(b+c)=ab+ac

17. Remember:
The Greatest Common Factor of two or more
monomials is the common factor having the greatest
numerical factor and with variables having the least
degree.

18. For example, we can use the distributive property to find
the product of 3x^2 and 4x+3
