  1. Southwest Airline is committed to making their passengers feel comfortable and welcome. They are concerned about their passengers well being and strive to be the best they can on the ground or in the air.
  2. Southwest’s target age is 24-55. The average age of a typical Southwest flyer is about 46.
  3. The mission of southwest airlines is devotion to the best quality of customer service delivered with warmth, friendliness, pride, and company spirit.They want everyone to feel welcome and gain the trust of everyone they work or are involved with.
  4. March 15, 1967 Air Southwest Co, is incorporated. Since then, Southwest is Americas largest low-fare carrier who serves more customers than any other airline. They don’t have any extra annoying fees and have great customer service (I personally always fly with Southwest, that’s one of the reasons I choose this company). They are safe, reliable, and continue to make great strides as a company, such as adding more nonstop flights to key markets.
  5. Regarding making customers feel welcome and wanting them to come back and fly again Southwest has made commitments to customer service.   6. The company has set up a facebook page, twitter page, Linkedin profile (for the airline, not for any specific person), and an Instagram to post pictures of Southwest Air.
  7. Southwest Air will have ads on Google and when people click on an ad such as their special offers it will direct them to the Southwest Special offers tab so they will be able to look and see when they want to take their next trip. With the social media attention they will be getting, adwords is another great way to promote the company and get ads out to the world.
  8. Search engine optimization is a great way for when people are looking for “affordable flights” or “reliable airline” it will bring them right to Southwest Air’s Mission page on their website or their special offers tab on the website so customers can see what flights are priced right for them. SEO will be a great tool for the company to use to gain more customers.
  9. Southwest wants to be the most traveled with and most profitable airline in the business. In 2011 their profit was $122 million. They will continue to grow as a company and profits will continue to soar. With the use to all of the digital strategy tools they will get more attention than ever before.
  10. In the end, Southwest wants to be the best airline out there with the best ratings and customer service. They will continue to strive for excellence and with the digital strategies that I have discussed they will continue to gain attention and more customers to fill their seats.
