2. Narrative
Equilibrium: This is where we see the main protagonist reopen the case for the
search for her missing brother and reevaluating the clues and information that
had been discovered the first time round.
A disruption: This will be where the main protagonist discovers the detective
who first was in charge of her brothers case and he is now retired, and does
not want to help her reopen and continue the search for her brother.
Realization: This is where the audience sees as why the detective of he case
was reluctant for the main protagonist to reopen the case as he had been
bribed to shut the case on her brother after finding clues that lead to the person
who kidnapped her brother.
Restored order: we see the protagonist discover the fact the detective was part
of the the plan. We see the protagonist follow the clues and be reunited with
her brother.
4. Influence
We have taken inspiration from films such as gone girl as it also uses
suspense and has the use of clues to find someone included in the film.
Also gone baby gone is
similar to our film as it shares the kidnapping
storyline but we also share the twist at the
end of the storyline.We
also take mild Influence
from taken as it also involves
the kidnapping storyline.
5. Film Details
The target audience for our film is 15-30 year olds as we feel that this
is the type of audience we would attract with our storyline. Our film
will be released in January 2017 as this around award season. Our film
will cost £50million as this is what the budget will need to be to cover
prices of such things as actors and settings and is similar to other films
of this genre. We hope to hit a target of £100million in the box office.
We will have David Fincher directing our film as he has done a lot of
thriller and suspense films already such as Gone Girl.
