Who's Who Ltd, established in 1978, is a knitwear manufacture that offers a full in-house design service. I
was responsible for creating knitwear collections for the current season, working to 5 week production
times. I worked with technicians/designers and buyers from a number of high street brands such as:
Republic, C&A, TKmaxx, New Look and International. I helped developed relationships with Miss
Selfridges and Boohoo.com . I secure a 5000pc order with New Look.

FORMAL/CASUAL DESIGNER - RICE 2 LTD, LONDON FEB 2007 – AUG 2010
Rice 2 Ltd, founded in 2003 is a design driven formalwear business for the high street.
I worked with the senior designers/director’s/sales/buyers and factories in China. I always worked
beyond my responsibilities by ensuring the daily running of design studio and showroom. I also managed 2
assistant designers who helped get samples to customers. I used Illustrator to develop trend focus
boards for meetings with buyers. I arranged trips/travelled to factories, mills and suppliers in the Far East
and Europe. I was responsible for managing CP’s, preparing garments for the sales team with cost
breakdown, colour options, quantity ordering mini bulk for salesmen samples. I worked on heritage
inspired tailored suits, using Harris Tweeds and designing overcoats in beautiful melton wool, on formal.
Later I moved onto causalwear. Designing Urban and vintage style standalone Jackets and Trousers
using wire fabrics and boiled wool. These were targeted for Topman, River Island and Next.

I assisted the knitwear team and worked on products such as “boyfriend inspired hoodies with pop
colour details. Cashmere like cotton super soft knits. Long skinny V-necks with exposed seams. Cropped
chunky sweaters, fairisle knits and cables for A/W and S/S 2008. I created ‘Technical Packs’ using Web
PDM and InDesign. I was responsible for lab dip testing, ensuring colour standards were approved. I
implemented a new procedure for the tracking and managing of lab dip testing. I also worked with
