During the crossing of Iceland when I was 17, there were two main things going through my head - One: ‘how, please, tell me how
I can make this rucksack lighter?’. Two: ‘I feel more at home beneath this thin sheet of rip-stop nylon than I do within my own home’. Since
then, I have tried to place myself into the most challenging environments possible. Fortunately this innate passion for Design
and Discovery has been leading towards:

I feel more at home in a tent than I do in
a house. I have a self-driven motivation to
push myself into environments far beyond my
comfort zone and it’s treated me pretty well
so far.
