2. ■ This week I started on the Borderlands inspired pieces of work with the character
introduction pages. As this style of artwork really inspired me and when I see it is very
iconic in the style and is instantly recognisable whenever I see it.
■ Another thing that I like about the Borderlands introduction pages is the smaller text
underneath the name that gives either an insight into the characters or it was
something smaller about the character that might not be so well known.
■ So this week I started by creating some of the artwork in the Borderlands style, I
created one of these pieces of artwork to see if this style would be effective or not.
After creating the first one and using the similar artstyle to the other artwork in my
fanzine.After creating the first one I decided that I really liked the premise of the intro
screens so I decided to keep the look and create more of them and add them into the
fanzine.
