In 1985, Charles Besser founded Intersport, a sports
media and marketing company. Prior to this, Charles
Besser earned his JD from the Marquette University
Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
3. About the Programs
In addition to a nationally renowned dispute-
resolution program, the Marquette University Law
School provides students with a number of degree
programs, including programs in sports law, health
care law, and intellectual property. Not only does the
school’s sports law program offer the nation’s most
extensive selection of courses, but it also puts students
into contact with a number of sports organizations for
valuable internship experiences. The school’s health
care program covers areas of special
practice, including mental health systems and health
care policy.
