THE CHALLENGE
Proteus is a rostered agency for Lloyds
Banking Group and has been for over 15
years delivering a wide variety of integrated
internal communications campaigns, engaging
75,000 colleagues, supporting companywide
initiatives for all the Lloyds Banking Group
brands, including Lloyds Bank, Halifax,
Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows.
THE CAMPAIGNS
Working with different areas within Lloyds
Banking Group, we support internal product
launches and bring meaning to culture
influencing initiatives, including key campaigns
for Inclusion & Diversity and Agile Working.
Familiarity with the brand is essential, although
our challenge is always to develop new
concepts and explore different channels for
campaign delivery which will engage Lloyds
Banking Group colleagues at multiple levels.
INTRANET
A company-wide intranet is the primary internal
communications tool for Lloyds Banking Group.
We work with a number of Lloyds Banking Group
divisions to deliver content, micro-sites and
online campaigns, aimed at enriching colleagues’
knowledge of the strategic business goals and
products and how to deliver them to customers.

6. GWR
THE CHALLENGE
Our team has worked with Great Western
Railway, previously First Great Western,
for many years, and over that time we
have delivered a wide range of strategies,
initiatives and campaigns. The British rail
industry is unique and our knowledge of
how it works, and the passion and loyalty
of those who work within it, is essential to
understanding how to approach campaigns.
PUBLICATIONS
• We manage two major publications
for GWR, one customer facing, the
other a monthly employee newsletter
distributed to over 6000 colleagues.
• Our work involves content strategy, design,
proofing, print production and distribution.
• Printed channels are preferred over
digital channels as they guarantee
every colleague receives a copy to read
in their own time, leading to a greater
engagement with key business messages.
EVENTS
GWR attend a number of key County Shows
across the South West. We deliver these
events, including concepts, sponsorship, event
management, promotion and PR, and on-site
management for the duration of the shows. The
shows are a great vehicle for the public to gain
unprecedented access to GWR staff, including
Station Masters who regularly man the stands.
Data is collected for marketing purposes and
the event ROI is calculated on cost per lead.

Opening new channels for internal
communications and providing a
platform for internal processes
Ryder is a global distribution and logistics
provider operating from over 25 locations
throughout the UK. With such a diverse
workforce, and a heavy safety and
working practices focus, the Ryder Internal
Communications team are always looking
to drive up engagement through their
communication channels.

8. MINSTER LAW
Soon to become an independent company
Minster Law, personal injury claim specialists,
had an urgent need to establish their own
culture and community via a new Intranet.
With over 800 employees in three sites, Minister
Law takes pride in providing a supportive work
environment with employees integral to the business
and encouraged to take on leadership roles.
THE CHALLENGE
With a twelve week timeline for delivery we worked
with Minister Law to recommend an intranet
platform, strategy for content and delivery and
design and content upload. In order to achieve
this we worked in partnership with Interact,
a company that has a proven track record of
delivering a simple, easy to use, fantastic Intranet
platform that is unbeatable in the marketplace.

• We hit the deadline. Within twelve weeks Minster
