Sample Conclusions for Question 3:
Helping someone/ A good/kind deed:
a. The _______ was very grateful for his help. He thanked and praised him for his
bravery/ honesty, kindness/ good action. He gave him/ rewarded him some
money but he did not accept it/ he refused to accept it.
b. When he went home, he quickly told his parents about the incident. His parents
were extremely proud of him. It was indeed a memorable/ an unforgettable day
for him.
c. The owner thanked Ali over and over again. The policeman thanked him for
being an honest boy. He also called up his school to inform his headmaster of
the incident. Ali is glad that he had not kept the wallet. Indeed, honesty is the
best policy.
Outings: A picnic, A trip to the zoo etc:
a. They went home at ______p.m. They were tired but happy because they had
enjoyed themselves. It was indeed a memorable day for them and they hoped
to go there again next time.
b. They packed their things and returned home at _____p.m. Although they were
exhausted, they were as happy as a lark because they had spent quality time
with the family/ friends. It was a memorable day for them.
c. When the sky began to turn dark, their father told them it was time to go home.
All of them helped to pack up the things into the car. It had indeed been a happy
day at the beach for them.
d. By then, the sun was starting to set. Reluctantly, they packed up and left for
home. Though all of them were exhausted/ very tired, they found it a truly
enjoyable outing.

e. In the evening, they took dinner at a famous seafood restaurant and went to
watch the musical fountain. It was very late when they decided to leave in a
ferry. It had been a great day and they would like to visit Pulau Langkawi again.
f. All too soon, it was time to leave. However, they cheered when their teacher,
Puan Rahimah promised to bring them on another excursion during the
December holidays.
g. When the sky began to turn dark, Mr Lim told his children it was time to go
home. All of them helped to pack up all the things into the car. It had indeed
been a happy day at the seaside.
A camping trip
a. The days flew past and it was time for them to go home. Reluctantly, they
packed and left the place. It was an unforgettable trip and they would like to go
camping again.
When you have been naughty:
a. He regretted his action. From that day onwards, he turned a new leaf. He
promised to listen to his parents’ advice.
b. The boys were injured seriously especially on their legs. Their parents quickly
took them to the hospital nearby. They regretted for playing the fireworks.
They had to celebrate Hari Raya in the hospital. Bun, Alan and Aman learnt a
lesson from their mistake. They promised that they will not do it again in future.
It was indeed an unforgettable day for three of them.
Cleanliness campaign:
a. After cleaning up the compound, their teacher treated them lunch. Although
they were tired, they were satisfied with their hard work. Their school was clean

and beautiful again. They were as happy as a lark. It was an unforgettable and
memorable event for _________ and his/her friends.
A visit to an old folks’ home
a. It had been a meaningful day and also been very rewarding to see their efforts
bring cheer to the old people. They felt that everyone should have a sense of
responsibility to help those lonely people.
b. They felt contented and happy because they had helped the old folks.
Sports Day
a. The prize giving ceremony marked the end of the exciting day. The winners were
cheered and carried on their classmates’ shoulders. The losers showed good
sportsmanship by joining in the cheers and not sulking. Though they were very
tired, they had enjoyed themselves tremendously.
Carelessness
a. Ali was very upset. He walked home and told his parents about his missing
bicycle. His parents scolded him for being careless. Ali regretted his
carelessness very much.
A birthday party
a. After eating the cake, it was time for everyone to go home. Some of Sofea’s
friends offered to clear up the place, but she declined politely. She bade her
guests farewell and thanked them for their presence. It had been an enjoyable
day and she hopes to hold a birthday party again next year.
