3. Get to know the country girl (Caroline Riepler) behind the scenes:
Western Border and Company, is a Colorado-based and operated online boutique
offering handcrafted designer western and country music themed accessories and
apparel for both infants and toddlers. Founder Caroline is a wife, mother and en-
trepreneur to parents who immigrated to the United Stated from Germany and
Switzerland. She was taught to value and respect hard work and entrepreneurial
spirit.
After suffering from a bit of post partum and a devastating head on accident involving a drunk driv-
er, Caroline turned to life-long love of sewing and designing to help her heal and embrace the
world. In 2004 she began sewing and creating western/country theme apparel and accessories for
babies-children for wholesale/retail market and Western Border and Company was born. After two
more additional accidents a hit and run and a fender bender the business got off to a slow start,
however the pure determination and ambition is making for herself and her company in a big way
with the support of her family, friends and God up above.
The business has been a huge blessing for Caroline, professionally and personally. Turning her physi-
cal and emotional plan into something positive has given her the opportunities that many only
dream off. Caroline had not only been able to use her creativity to build a successful business that
she loves, but more importantly to be there for her husband, Daniel and their son to cherish every
moment together.
You can now find Caroline’s must-have creations in numerous boutiques, around the country. Eve-
rything is handcrafted in Colorado, USA. Her company is starting to get attention within the media
and has been featured in People Country Magazine, Country Music Star Craig Campbell’s daughters
and World Champion Barrel Racer Fallon Taylor, Channel 9 News, and more.
