One of the three key elements of the Square, the China-
UK Business Incubator (CUBI) will help to further
connect the Chinese and UK business markets.
The Vision for the CUBI is to:
• Be a gateway for Chinese companies to enter into the
UK and European market, bringing investment to the
Sheffield City Region.
• Offer a regional hub for China related businesses.
• Work with partners and members to identify and
materialize opportunities related to China.

Layout
The China-UK Business Incubator will be located in Block D, in
Phase 2 of the development, due to be completed in 2019.
• As well as the main entrance to the offices, the Ground
Floor will include retail units and restaurants, making New
Era Square a lively place to live and work.

up - January 2017
• With the help of the CBI, started connecting with Sheffield City Council, so we can
work together to attract CDiRS to come to Sheffield – March 2017
• Car exports to China via the train – May 2017
They are looking into: -
• Setting up direct train links to come to the UK (London/Doncaster/Sheffield)
• Establishing a distribution Centre in Sheffield City Region for Chinese e-commerce
businesses and manufacturers, for their distribution to the European market
• Selling/shipping more UK/Sheffield City Region products to China
