3. Râmnicelu as a communal administrative unit
dates back to January 1, 1926. The commune
was administered by the villages of Râmnicelu
and Avântul, a new settlement with a
population of 25 inhabitants, which appeared
in 1923, as a result of the application of the
agrarian law of 1921.

the legal status of the hamlet on August 15, 1880.

Râmnicelu, Constantin, Avantul and Ştefan cel Mare, a village

Since its integration into the territory of Brăila County and

10. Church
The church was built between 1892 and 1894 and is dedicated
to St. Dumitru. The sanctification of the place of worship was
accomplished in 1894 on October 26. Founding King Charles I
and Queen Elizabeth are the founders, naturally due to the fact
that the village was constituted by the expropriation of the
Domina Crown Domain.
In 2007, the Church of St. Emperors Constantin and Elena was
sanctified in the village of Constantinesti built with funds from
the local budget and the contribution of the citizens

commune was 2254 inhabitants, to
which were added the 112 who lived
at the Domnita Farm.
In 2004 the commune had 2416
inhabitants, and in 2007 there were
2342 inhabitants.
12. Occupations
Like all inhabitants of Bărăgan, the inhabitants of
Râmnicelu commune also took care of animal
husbandry and agriculture. For agriculture, the
crops of barley, millet, wheat, wheat and corn are

established and took over the Rimnicelu Deposit.
In 1998 Regia became the National Company "Cai de Rasa" SA.
In 2002, in November, it was taken over by GEO no. 139/2002, by the
National Forestry Directorate of Romsilva and is in the structure of
the Braila Forestry Directorate.
