4. There is not an easy way to check direct
operating costs (DOC) of an airline
company.
Surprisingly, even if Airlines invest millions
to resolve this problem through BPOs
external services and other semi-
automated solutions, the level of accuracy
to verify and validate each DOC invoice,
never goes above 60%.
So 2 out of 5 invoices from suppliers can’t
be verified and it’s paid as it is generating an
overpayment.
