Cali interviewed for an internship with Amber Education in Hong Kong and was selected along with one other candidate out of ten as she came across as intelligent and professional. During the 3-month internship from July to September 2013, the reference found Cali to be professional, polite, efficient, and a quick learner. Colleagues at Amber Education also commented that she was a quick learner able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and had good customer service skills. To whom it may concern
I would like to write this letter of reference in support of the above. I originally met Cali
when she interview for an internship opportunity that the University of Essex organised
with Amber Education in Hong Kong during the summer of 2013. We interviewed 10
candidates and Cali was one of two selected having come across as intelligent and
professional during her interview.
The internship position ran from July through September 2013 and during the time I had
the chance to work with Cali on several occasions. I found her to be professional, polite,
efficient and able to pick things up quickly. She was excellent to work with. She also has
strong English as well as being fluent in her native Cantonese.
At the end of the internship, I had the chance to speak with colleagues at Amber
Education, with whom Cali was based during the period. They also commented that she
was a quick learner and able to execute tasks given to her with minimal supervision. They
also commented on her good customer service skills and professional manner.
I would have no reservations in recommending Cali for an internship or part-time job that
requires good customer service and administrative skills and I would imagine her to be
