INDIA INC.’S CRUISING
DRIVE INTO THE FUTURE
s everything slowly returns to normal, India Inc.
Ahopes the pandemic will get over. Because
COVID-19 bought corporates worst ever
nightmare in reality.
Still, just like the phoenix rises from the ashes, the
Indian industry emerged much more robust and too
rapidly from the darkness.
It was due to the two year’s steep learning curve. It
helped the industry overcome restrictions and form a
more pragmatic approach to adjusting to the new
normal.
The global reality is changing with unprecedented
speed due to many factors. The pandemic, economic
fluctuations, technological revolutions, implications of
the climate crisis, shifting social and political demands,
and the only choice left of sustainability.
Nowadays, the new corporate mantra is to adapt,
upskill, and reskill to keep up with these continuously
changing scenarios. The philosophy of ‘business as
usual, is a relic of the past. Those who still think
traditionally are not in the race anymore.
As we are at the end of the first quarter of 2022, the
race is being led by those companies which have sensed
the opportunity in the most chaotic period in human
history. And they have snatched victory from the jaws
of an imminent defeat.
They did it by keeping an open mind to new ideas, novel
methods, and new-age business processes. New ideas
of digitalisation, novel methods of people-centric
business models, new-age IT integrated processes and
tech-driven core business functioning.
The modern consumer is also more aware of the vast
changes brought about by turbulent times. No more
they will settle for the good or even great. Their
expectation from the companies is sky-high, and they
aspire best. And they are now in a hurry.
They are not ready to wait because of the explosion of
uncertainty. They want everything quality without
compromising the environment, and they want it
quickly.
Indian companies are responding to this changed
reality by evolving as fast as possible. They are quickly
developing their planning, manufacturing, designing
policies and delivering strategies.
Yet they are not adamant about anything but flexible,
learning, adapting and adopting the best way to win
over the competition. CIOLOOKINDIA, in its latest
edition, has curated the list of India’s Fastest Growing
Companies to Watch, which are more people-oriented,
more tech-driven, and entirely ready for the post-
pandemic world.
They will make India Inc. Industry 4.0 story an
exemplary one. Flip on through the following pages to

How is Digital
Transformation
enhancing Businesses?
Subtle Thinking
Start-ups - Are

and Thriving?
12. s a business owner, you want as many people to
Atry your product or service as possible. While
having a great product or service is important, it
won't get you very far if no one wants it or is prepared to
pay for it.
The ability to find interested people who might benefit
from what you have to sell and persuade them to make the
journey from merely being interested to becoming buyers
is critical to the success of your business and sales. The
higher this number is, the more likely you are to succeed.
So, how do you maintain this line of people growing?
You want it to go all the way out the door, around the
block, and beyond. To begin the process of establishing
this customer pipeline, you must first get their attention,
which is commonly accomplished through digital
marketing. Lead generation is the term for this strategy.
This great blessing for businesses makes the work crispier
and easier. EvolveBPM delivers cutting-edge solutions
with lead generation.
The company has five strong pillars that are leading the
company with sheer excellence. Akshay Deshpande, the

Future Endeavours
"As we concluded our year ending for 2021, we had the
opportunity to connect with our client stakeholders and
understand from them their internal marketing tactics and
strategies for 2022," says Akshay.
The key insights that they got have been categorised into
three main headers:
1. Intent Data – truth vs. hype
"We believe the hype around intent data will reach an all-
time high in 2022, but we believe marketers are just starting
to scratch the surface on how to best operationalize these
insights. B2B marketers have been preoccupied with using
technology to send the right message to the right person at
the right time for years but delivering a really tailored
message in terms of content, timing, and concern is
extremely difficult without intent analytics," states Akshay.
Signals about a person's or an account's desire to
accomplish something are referred to as intent data. These
digital footprint-based intent analytics can help you make
your marketing experiences more relevant and tailored. The
team believes that the use cases and successes for B2B
marketers employing intent will rise next year, from
account prioritisation to leading your content marketing
efforts.

advanced than their counterparts, e.g., Western Europe is
more advanced than Nordic countries, which are more
advanced than the Middle East and Africa regions.
Therefore, a one size fits all strategy for the EMEA region
is a waste of valuable marketing and demand generation
budget.
EMEA region consists of 116 countries with a combined
population of approximately two billion. The Europe lead
generation solution market alone is expected to grow from
US$ 853.21 million in 2021 to US$ 2,705.03 million by
2028; the EMEA region is estimated to grow at a CAGR of
17.9% from 2021 to 2028. Though these are impressive
growth numbers, the EMEA market with its diversity in
language and culture represents quite a challenge, not to
mention regulatory challenges like GDPR and their
permitted variations. With 116 countries under its belt,
2. Increase in Digital Ad Spend – Omicron and beyond
Due to limited B2B marketing budgets, digital ad
expenditure is increasing at the expense of traditional
marketing channels. Targeted advertising solutions,
according to Akshay, have become an attractive route to
contact customers due to the cost per impression (CPM) of
digital ads, increasing email rules, and worldwide
compliance standards. Integrated campaigns that leverage
email/social media selling backed with telemarketing will
be the comprehensive strategy going forward. So future
programs will be a combination of CPL/CPM and CPM
metrics driving leads through the sales funnel, nurturing
leads, and delivering qualified opportunities to the sales
teams.
3. Impact of AI on the demand generation industry
"AI solutions are creeping in on every aspect of B2B
marketing, from content production to email assistants and
chatbots, predicting ABM lists and attribution, and lead
scoring models," States Sahil.
AI solutions help marketers analyse large datasets to enable
individualization at scale, uncover actionable insights and
improve productivity by offloading mundane tasks to smart
software solutions.
Sahil Shares that whilst the US market for demand and lead
generation has matured quite a bit due to established
players, the EMEA region is still some distance from
reaching there. This presents a significant opportunity for a
company like EvolveBPM to enter and strengthen its
position in this market. Part of the countries in EMEA are

15. language and culture represent a significant challenge for
marketers as it remains a significant market for most
companies.
Language skills are extremely important across all these
markets; therefore, having a language experts' team is
critical either as telemarketers or content generators, who
also understand the cultural sensitivities of the region.
EvolveBPM has been at the forefront of these emerging
trends, and our investments into building capabilities across
the Dominican Republic and the US has been focused on
delivering multi-lingual services to its client base.
The new buzz word 'Intent' data
Pradip Tiwari indicated that the B2B space thrives on data,
and it is what keeps the business up and running. With its
own dynamics, experts collect data to determine the intent
of prospective buyers based on the location, weather
conditions of the place, lifestyle choices, income, etc., when
they surf the internet and use the same to target them with
ads. Such data is called Intent Data.
What is Intent Data exactly?
Intent Data is what gives insights into the behavioural
information of a person based on his or her online activities.
Intent Data is not just about anonymous online activity. It is
gauged from an individual's behaviour in social media, likes
and dislikes towards certain content, social media
interactions, online activities, and engagements, etc., paired
with additional research to refine it. All of these combine to
reflect an individual's intent towards an element on the
internet.
In layman terms, intent can be as simple as highly
researched data to attach tags to targeted buyers while

of
16. understanding and predicting what their behaviours and
signals mean. It enables marketers to get a distinct insight
into customer engagement, their intention to buy a product
or service, etc.
However, most intent data is derived from a limited number
of engagements that happen between a targeted persona and
the business. This could be just an interaction over email or
content consumed on a social media platform. The actual
insights generated from such minimal touchpoints could be
pretty basic and confusing. Hence, it might not be possible
to interpret and predict any behaviour from it until sufficient
data is collected.
Although 'intent' is intangible and abstract, the data
collected from it is real and comes in handy in businesses.
This article breaks the myth about intent data and focuses
on its wholesome application in scaling up a business.
Areas in business to use Intent Data
"Let us decode how we can use Intent data in a functional
enterprise. In an extremely competitive market, business
users can make use of intent data in the following cases.
This will prove that intent data is not a myth but has
promising results with usage," says Pradip.

Leveraging Technology and Streamlining the
Operations
"Lead generation will increasingly rely on automation and
artificial intelligence as time goes on. Furthermore, we can
expect marketing activities to be more extensively
monitored and analysed utilising data analytics," expresses
Shekhar.
At EvolveBPM, the team has made significant investments
into building their customised CRM, which captures all
activities from cradle to grave for a lead journey. This is
supplemented by ancillary systems that provide for six
sigma driven toll gate checks, role-based work routing,
automation of quality checks, machine learning for critical
field checks.
"We have seen a much better outcome from these
technology investments from reduced time to process,
lower cost of operations, lower rejection rates with our
partners, and at the end of the day customer delight," states
Shekhar.
Tech-savvy Solutions
Today, email is one of the most widely utilised modes of
communication. As a result, it's an excellent approach to
reach out to your target demographic. In fact, it is still the
most successful lead generating approach. You may
increase the effectiveness of your email marketing by
segmenting and personalising them, as seen in the statistics
below.
"Our email deliverability process ensures emails are placed
in the inbox and not the spam folder," says Nithya.
Considering sender reputation, domain reputation, Ip
reputation, feedback loops, domain authentication, spam
traps, blacklists, user engagement, and more ensures the
company keeps up with the challenges encountered with
deliverability.
EvolveBPM investigates all these aspects to ensure emails
arrive at the user's inbox. The email lists, engagement,
content, subject lines, email compliances as per CAN
SPAM ACT, GDPR regulation, and of course, CCPA
compliance policies are mandated. If the team gets all these
lined up in proper order, results follow.
Customers are more demanding than ever, and expectations
out of campaigns are more.

18. Your Business to a Digital Brand Transformer
We have experienced; businesses and enterprises
saw a drastic turn-around of things since the
outbreak of the pandemic. Looking at the
current scenario and the sagacity, what can these
organizations do to overcome these adversities?
To overcome these turbulent times, enterprises must thrive
towards growth as fast as possible. Because each and every
department of theirs, be it marketing, advertising, sales,
support or even HR, is overwhelmed with the onslaught of
digital customers.
But the traditional digital transformation approaches are too
slow, clunky, and expensive. And if companies wait even
for a few months, they might be way behind or entirely out
of the race. Thus, the fastest digital transformation is the
need of the hour.
And when it comes to speed, economy, and smoothness,
then there is only one who can be your fastest friend:
Indrashish Chatterjee, the Founder & CEO of Bariza
Software Solutions. Before the incorporation of Bariza, he
was working with a leading corporate house in a senior
position.
Indrashish was only twenty-five years old then, a pass-out
from a leading business school. He initially incorporated
Bariza under the banner name Need Websites in 2014,
keeping in mind to help small to medium-scaled businesses
avail themselves of the best online solutions at the most
affordable rates.
Being a first-generation entrepreneur, he had no blueprints
to follow as such to make the venture a success. However,
his passion and desire to assist other business owners
helped him to gain goodwill and establish a brand for his
self-funded venture in the market.
In fifteen years of working experience, Indrashish, now
thirty-four years of age, is not only supervising the
operation of Bariza, but he has successfully set up three
other tech ventures which are serving consumers not only in
pan India but caters to serve customers globally.
He also works closely with the start-up communities
globally and has contributed to more than ten start-ups as an
angel investor, start-up mentor and incubator.
In an interview with Insights Success for its edition of
‘India's Fastest-Growing Companies to Watch’, Indrashish
is talking about how Bariza is aiding companies in
transforming themselves into a digital brand by providing
work progress transparency, timely delivery, cost-effective
solutions, quality assurance, higher traffic generation, and
converting visitors to business promoters.

Below are the excerpts of the interview.
Please brief us about Bariza.
Bariza is one of the leading IT firms known for providing
IT solutions to businesses globally. Other than developing
software, app, websites, Bariza has expertise in Digital
Marketing as-well. From branding businesses online and
helping them achieve their business goals to creating
television ads conceptual YouTube Ads, Bariza is a one-
stop solution for all. We have our presence in India,
Australia, and the United States of America. In the next
five-year projection plan, we are working towards growing
our operations serving businesses in Dubai, Singapore and
Ireland.
What were the initial challenges you faced while
venturing into the industry you are catering to?
Challenges are part of every venture, regardless of whether
they succeed or fail in the long run. Even Bariza had its
share of fair struggle.
In an Indian household, most of the parents want and
support their children to get highly educated so that they
can have a financially secured future. And if you are from a
Bengali household, parents and family consider doing a
government job is better than doing a corporate job, and
business is not a valid option for a Bengali family.

20. Hence when the only son in the family decides to quit a
high paying corporate job, it is highly likely the entire
family gets an idea that their beloved son or brother or
friend has lost his sanity and is on the verge of destroying
his career and life.
As the founder of Bariza, the first major challenge was to
convince others that I knew what exactly I was doing.
Secondly, considering Bariza is a self-funded venture, and I
am a first-generation entrepreneur, there were quite a few
obstacles in those initial days.
Trust is a major factor when you’re incorporating a venture.
You have to trust people, but then again, if you trust people
too much, you will be sent to the cuckoo land by those
people only. In my initial days, I trusted the wrong guys,
and I got cheated badly. It was so bad that there was one
time when I had to take a call if I wanted to give it one final
attempt or head back to my corporate life.
Luckily for me, I am a fast learner, and I guess I had that
risk-taking appetite then hence I took the last chance on
myself, and things turned out well for me.
To incorporate a company, it is important to have the right
kind of talents working with you. I have been fortunate
enough to work with great talents since the beginning of my
ventures. However, one of the major challenges I faced was
getting a proper infrastructure set up for my venture.
Considering I got cheated in my early days, it took me no
time to learn that a start-up is as good as the amount of
money in its bank account. Hence, I ensured to invest very
cleverly in those early days.
I focused on getting the optimum utility of the resources I
invested. I worked on networking and interacted with
seniors in the field and took notes which helped me
eliminate many challenges that came my way.
However, to be very honest, my clients played a vital role in
making Bariza whatever it is today. I always strive to
deliver the best to my clients, and they understood and
appreciated the efforts of my team and guided me to grow
in a positive direction.
The entire idea which worked for me was to ensure that I
look after my clients better than anybody else could.
To date, I believe, no matter whatever is your venture, if
you take care of your customers, no one, absolutely no one,
can stop your venture from growing to the next level.
What would be your advice to the aspirants willing to
venture into the niche?
First of all, one needs to identify the ‘Pain Area’ their
products or services cater to. By ‘Pain Area’, I mean what
solution your products and services will provide to the
targeted buyer’s segment. To confirm the same, try to do a
test run or create a beta product and do the market survey,
which will help you identify the market demand for your
services and products.
Once you find your product is viable and is getting positive
reviews, you can start focusing on other important aspects
like budgeting on incorporating a company, planning and
strategising on marketing and sales and then maybe
approaching investors for investing in your venture.
So, I will suggest if you’re an aspirant who is willing to
venture into a niche, it is essential to identify the product or
service which you can develop or serve at its best at first
because at the end of the day if buyers reject your products
or services no matter how much you invest on the sales and
marketing, you will eventually fail in establishing your
brand or successfully running your operation.
Being an experienced leader, share your opinion on how
emerging technologies enhance the industry and what
advancements can we expect in the future?
Technology plays a vital role in today’s date for any
venture. If you use technology to your benefit, you can
work on both a. reduction of cost and b. growth of your
business.
In the modern era, AI is being considered the future of
humanity. Technology being utilised can help you
streamline your entire operation, enhance your employees'
productivity, and help you achieve the optimum customer
experience.
Other than that, if you consider growing your sales or
establishing your brand, you can also do that through the
positive utilisation of technology.
Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube are designed
to attract more users. It also provides an avenue for
businesses to reach their target market, enhancing the
opportunity for the ventures to generate more potential sales

leads, which eventually leads to growth in revenue
generation for a venture.
It also helps a venture create its own brand as these
platforms offer a huge opening to the ventures to reach
millions of people regularly.
Being a founder of multiple tech companies, I can say that
the modern era and the future are all about tech. If you’re
not using technology, you’re not only sabotaging the
growth of your business, but you’re also slowly poisoning
your venture.
Why do I say so? Let us consider these unstable Pandemic
Times when the world went for a lock-down. Numerous
businesses failed to survive during this period, but not all
ventures experienced the same.
Companies like Amazon, eBay, and other eCommerce
platforms experienced above 80% growth during these
tough times.
Hence, it will not be wrong to say, at present and in the near
future, those ventures who will be using technology at their
own benefit will grow faster and certainly have more
longevity.
Where do you envision Bariza eventually, and how do
you plan to embrace the changes happening in your
industry?
IT is an ever-evolving industry. This is one industry where
different software apps are being developed every day to
make the life of its users easy. Bariza works with small to
medium-scaled businesses globally and, to date, have
served above 1000 B2B clients all over the world.
The research team of Bariza is always working and is trying
to introduce new software for different industries, which
will reduce the operational cost and help the ventures invest
more in advertisements, which will help them grow their
ventures.
In terms of digital marketing, Bariza is trying to utilise
growth hacking for the benefit of its clients.

22. Digitally Advance
How Is
Digital
Transformation
Enhancing
Businesses?
You cannot delegate the digital transformation for
your company. You and your executives have to
own it! Executives need to engage, embrace and
adopt new ways of working with the latest and emerging
technologies.” – Barry Ross, CEO and Co-founder, Ross
and Ross International.
Rightly said, introducing the digital technologies in the
business is not enough. The entire company, its team needs
to learn, understand, practice and use it regularly in an
ambitious objective of improving, enhancing and excelling
the customer service.
Agreed! So, what is this digital transformation all about?
Digital transformation is uniting and connecting digital
technology in all departments of business primarily
“
changing the basic operations and delivering improved
value to customers. In fact, it is the change in complete
organizational ecosystem that requires every member to
stand up and challenge their work culture, experiment with
the new possibilities and be prepared to accept failure.
After understanding the digital transformation as a concept,
every organization needs to identify ‘The Why’ and ‘What’
specific to their organization.
Digital transformation is a complete shift of the business
working to digital platforms with the application of digital
technologies where the teams adapt working in numerous
systems and multifunctional software interfaces.
Applications in automating operations, data analytics,
integration of diverse software and technologies in a central
process.

24. These are all enablers that support work infrastructure, but
it is most essential to harness a farsighted leadership and a
cohesive culture that focuses on the objective of adding
value to the products or services which meet and fulfil
customer expectations.
As the word ‘Digital’ looks very vague and indistinct with
people deriving their own meaning arising from their own
understanding. For a few it might be a paperless office,
some may perceive the application of AI and analytics, to a
few it could be visualizing agile teams and still others may
think of open-plan business structures.
Digital transformation has boosted the businesses to a large
magnitude in many dimensions. Let’s explore the impact
areas as detailed below.
• Real time seamless communication: Digital media and
communication platforms have opened a huge platform
for possibilities and operational choices that have
ensured a continuous communication thereby retaining
the trust and building further business opportunities
even in the uncertain times of pandemic lock downs.
• Versatility: Every business communication needs to be
equipped with smart, logical and impressive
presentations. Technology has empowered in creating
interesting logical demonstrations through multiple
graphic, animation and statistical tools.
• Work made easy: It has helped to work in a systematic
framework that has many preset patterns based on the
customized workflow. It automatically takes care of the
output thereby making things easy to work.
• Fast pace: Compared to the earlier methods, digital
transformation has automated the entire work
architecture integrating all the departments seamlessly.
The work now happens very fast.
• Better Control: All divisions of the business structure
work in close integration with tight looped
functionalities, there is a better control in the process at
various operational stages. Monitoring is feasible and
easier.
• Greater Transparency: The software platforms and the
tools provide real time work updates and periodic
reviews, increasing greater transparency among the
teams, customers and associates.
• Better Reliability: It has provided better reliability in
the work outputs in terms of communication, clarity,
quality, delivery and fulfilment of the commitments.
• Enhanced work satisfaction: All the employees
working in the business process get to experience a
different kind of work satisfaction due to immediate
feedbacks, reviews and updates. The work becomes
more interesting as very member is connected and
engaged in the process.
• Encourages learning: Digital transformation is a
process of constant upgrading and adapting to the
newer technologies thereby offering a wide scope for
learning in various platforms.
• Better productivity: The systems which are configured
with the functionalities through unified integration
have enhanced better productivity. The basic work
output of every individual has reached new
benchmarks of productivity rapidly contributing to the
organizational objectives.
• Increased ROI: Businesses having transformed
digitally have made phenomenal developments in their
product offerings, service interactions and impressive
quality standards. Increased satisfaction automatically
leads to increased business adding up to an impressive
ROI.
• Adding growth opportunities: Successful business
organizations that function on modern technological
platforms have robust work culture having an amazing
magnetic effect on the industry. Current satisfied
customers happily recommend newer customers to be
added seamlessly, while the positive aura will attract
many new customers from the market to ‘experience’
the satisfaction. The positivity amongst the business
associates too adds up in increasing indirect
opportunities.
Digital transformation when rightly planned and
implemented focusing on the company business objectives
enhances the work experience, increases the productivity,
boosts the efficiency and speeds up the team efforts towards
the organizational objectives.

It is also transforming the scenario of excessive use of
chemical-based fertilizers and pesticides were raising
the bars for ecotoxicity and chronic health issues.
On the other hand, though the excessive use of
pesticides and fertilizers results in increasing crop
production, it is burning down the vital ingredients of
the crops, eventually reducing nutrient content and the
overall food quality.
This is the crucial reason why the modern world is
adapting the emerging farming methods, that are
precisely focused on enhancing food quality, it is also a
reason why modernization is thrusting the demand for
organic agriculture.
Organic agriculture is a holistic production and
management system that promotes and improves the
health of the agricultural ecosystem including its
biodiversity, and soil biological conditions.
These fundamentals created an immense thrust and
offered new opportunities among the companies to set
up an eco-friendly business model that not only
promotes quality food but also creates a sustainable
environment, altogether. This is where Gangotri
Organics came into the picture.
Gangotri Organics is a pioneer in organic farming in
Gujarat and it is one of the leading Bio and eco-friendly,
mushroom products manufacturers.
The Initiation
Since 2017, Gangotri Organics started its organic
mushroom cultivation at Valsad, and soon, it expanded
into international markets.
On the other hand, it has trained more than 200 women
entrepreneurs for cultivating the mushrooms most
economically and improving the standard of living of
people and the community.
At present this company offers a wide range of value-
added products made out of oyster mushrooms.

31. Engineering projects are known
for being time-consuming and
highly demanding. For a
project to be successfully concluded, it
takes coordinated efforts of
professionals from all walks of life.
However, Consulting engineers play a
significant role in the industry.
Consulting engineers may have it the
hardest simply because they are
charged with the actual coordination,
start to finish. It is a matter of facts,
including ideas, skills, and practical
working principles these professionals
follow.
As a result, the necessity of guidance
of these consultants in the initial stage
of the project cannot be ignored, nor
can be overemphasized as a consulting
engineer ensures implementing
practical and innovative technology for
all the important solutions—all
together with working knowledge of
finance integrated with business
procedures.
Moreover, the contours of consulting
fraternity are changing from the
resourceful one man show to large
organizations that have emerged over
time by providing multi-disciplinary
services and serving global clients with
leading-edge solutions.
This is where intelBUILD
Engineering Services LLP excels in
the industry by playing a significant
role in achieving clients’ desired
objectives by bridging the gap between
clients’ expectations and diverse
implementation ways.
Under the leadership of Mr Huzaifa
Salim Nakhwa, Director, the
company provides services with
engaging ideas and designs that are
prosperous altogether, with advanced
designing and detailing solutions
integrated with emerging trends of
technology.
In an interview with CIO Look India,
Huzaifa Salim Nakhwa sheds the
spotlight on the professional tenure of
intelBUILD Engineering Services,
highlighting the USPs, current industry
scenario, and his opinions on the future
of the company.
Mr Huzaifa, please brief us about
intelBUILD and its USPs in detail.
intelBUILD Engineering Services LLP

international markets.
Our core team is very well conversant
and expertise with the latest 3D

remarkable. Our esteemed clients are
Platinum Corp, Indiabulls, Indian Oil,
SAIL, Bharat Petroleum, BPCL,
Godrej group, Bombardier, and Alstom.
What were the initial challenges you
faced while venturing into the
Engineering Consulting industry?
Initially, we understood the importance
to maintain the quality of the project.
Since we faced a workforce shortage,
we prudently took the responsibility to
deliver the project as per commitments
to our clients. We connected with the
client through digital marketing, and
all means of professional approaches.
We dealt with many technical
challenges and came up with practical
solutions for establishing our position
in the market. Initially, we faced
stereotypical and conventional
practices that we had to deal with by
educating our clients with modern
practices and organization habits in the
construction industry.
What would be your advice to the
aspirants willing to venture into the
niche?
The aspiring entrepreneurs should
connect their academics with the
market to redefine the construction
practices.
People should focus more on indulging
their time on software and innovative
technologies. During the initial phase
of academic, students who desire to
enter the professional market should
develop their profile. It is necessary to
inculcate management and
organization skills to fit into the
industry without facing any hurdles.
Students should have a research-
oriented approach to understand and
work on the root causes of any
problem and have the capability to find
solutions. This will help to develop
analytical and critical thinking.
Being an experienced leader, share
your opinion on how the involvement
of emerging technologies enhances
the industry and what advancements
can we expect in the future?
As we have our roots in BIM software,

32. we understand that technology will
play a more vital role in the future for
the construction industry. With the
advancement of science and modern
techniques, the involvement of
artificial intelligence will gradually
shape the industry.
As the industry will rely more on
software and machines, we will require
more skilled labour forces. Hence, this
will lead to more professional
organizations in the construction
sector. There is a scope of 3D printing
machines that will help speed up the
construction process with minor
hindrances.
Much focus is shifting toward eco-
friendly and reusable materials;
technology will help material science
develop new construction techniques.
Where do you envision your
company eventually, and how do you
plan to embrace the changes
happening in your industry?
We aim to handle major infra projects
across major cities in the world. We
believe in thriving as leading
technology developers and
contributing to the industry through
our idea of a future construction
process.
We are a dedicated organization to
build a research and development unit
with a prime focus to deal with current
challenges in the field. We have
planned to achieve growth by
developing more sustainable and
greener projects as an initiative to deal
with climate change and other
environmental issues.
Mr Huzaifa Salim Nakhwa is the Director of intelBUILD
Engineering Services LLP and has successfully led the
company for the past six years. In the year 2021, he got
recognition and was awarded from the Indian
Achievers Forum for ‘INDIAN ACHIEVERS AWARD 2021 for
YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR.’ His business goal is to light the

36. Narendra Modi when he announced the
government program of ‘Startup India’
th
in his speech on 15 August 2015,
focusing on the key areas of
simplification, hand-holding, funding
support, and other initiatives.
A startup basically is a company
started by any entrepreneur to achieve
some logical goal, develop through a
basic framework, and authenticate a
high scope business system.
Startups are different from small
businesses in many aspects of
innovation, including the risk involved,
external funding, growth ratio, and
profits. They are planned with a proper
project report with projected gradual
growth in their scalable business
model.
According to Steve Blank, startups
exist in six different forms, namely
• Lifestyle startups involves self-
employed professionals.
• Small Business startups run for
family survival.
• Scalable startups are set on
scalable and repeated business
• Buyable startups are formed to be
grown to the level of being sold to
big companies.
• Large company startups are based
on innovation or closed for other
developments.
• Social startups are purposeful with
the aim and mission to create a
positive social impact.
On the basic foundation level, any
entrepreneur needs to plan a solid
logical business model capable of
being scaled up based on the
uniformity in the business structure,
the seriousness in a long term
perspective, and the vital business
objective of starting the venture. There
needs to be some uniqueness and a
creative positioning while forming the
startup. It should have good futuristic
planning in terms of operational
groundwork and good support based
on extensive market research.
A survey conducted by Economic
Times 2021-2022 revealed that startups
have remarkably grown in the past
decade, with 14000 new startups
adding up to 61,400 startups
recognized in India, which is
approximately 20 times the scenario
five years ago.
It is said that India is emerging as the
third-largest startup ecosystem globally
after US and China. 44 Indian start-ups
achieved the prestigious Unicorn
status, reaching 83. Maharashtra leads
with the highest number of recognized
start-ups with 11,308, Delhi with 5000,
and Bengaluru with 4514 start-ups.
The primary factors for the growth of
Indian startups were decent liquidity to
the investors, the uncertainty in China
leading to the diversion of the flow in
India, and the rapid growth of the
Indian digital ecosystem. India's well-
known successful startup brands are
Paytm, Nykaa, Biju’s, Unacademy,
Acko, and NoBroker, which have
created their mark in the Indian startup
skyline. The urban company Apna,
Razorpay, Delhivery, Classplus,
Upgrad are seen as the innovative
startups which began with a specific
mission of providing focused services
that met the customer requirements.
As we analyze the success of numerous
startups, we identified a few interesting
aspects which have been the key
factors
• Conceptual approach
• Limited initial investment.
• Well planned and organized
project model.
• Committed to a solid business
objective.
• Choice of selecting investors.
• Smooth and easy process.
• Easy access to funding sources.
• Tax holidays for the initial three
years.
• Supportive R&D facilities.
• Important tax savings for
investors.
• No complicated compliances.
• Easy exit policy.
The initial period of the startup when it
is formed proves crucial on how it
makes the start, positions itself as a
potent business investment ground, and
wins the trust through its logical and
convincing business projections.
The future of the startups in India
looks bright and promising due to the
encouraging initiatives from the
government, the growing interest of the
investors in the startup sector, and the
strength of the startup model(s), which
has been set on systematic planning,
long term approach and organized
business infrastructure. Unlike small
businesses, the startups have bloomed
based on a sound foundation of
concept, project business model, and
decent funding support leading to the
impressive growth of this fantastic
nation-building program.

competitiveexampreparation.
The students can achieve success in various exams like
NTSE, Dr Homi Bhabha Bal Vaidyanik exam, Scholarship,
Olympiad,etc.afterdoingthestudyfromourapplication.
Being an experienced leader, share with us your opinion
on what impact has the adoption of modern technologies
had on the education space and what more could be
expectedinthefuture?
Today’s world is the world of technology and with the
adoption of modern technology, education is becoming more
interesting and valuable. With the help of Artificial
Intelligence, we can evaluate the learning outcomes of a
certain course. The implementation of visual learning is
showing greatimpactsonconceptualunderstandings.
With the help of smartboard and animated content, learning is
becoming more practical. In future, the technologies like 3D
printing, AI, robotics will change the way students are
learning the concepts of science and mathematics. After the
pandemic situation, the flip-based learning and hybrid
learning models will now become more sustainable models in
the field of education. In hybrid learning models, online
learning and offline learning will go hand in hand, and they
willgiveoutmoreimpactfulresults.
Taking into consideration the current pandemic, what
initial challenges did you face and how did you drive
Learnbix to sustain operations while ensuring the safety
ofyouremployeesatthesame time?
Our team always takes any situation positively and treats all
challenges as opportunities. Initially, it took time for all of us
to adjust to the routine of work from home but soon we
worked on it and focused on the development of new products
which will suit the hybrid learning. For safety purposes, we
initiated a vaccine drive at our organisation for our team
members as soon as the vaccine was made available to the
public.
One of the biggest challenges faced by Learnbix was to
convince the schools and educational institutes to adapt to e-
learning and technology because they were reluctant to accept
the change. But after looking into our product, many schools
trusted us and their results and impact on learning solved all
ourfuturehurdles.
What would beyouradvicetotheyoung generation?
For the new and future entrepreneurs, I would suggest doing
work in the industry for a few days in which you want to start a
business as it will build your personality with all the traits
required for that business. Looking around there are many
problems in society, and you can provide them with an
innovative and affordable solution. Another piece of advice
would be that stay client-driven. Solve all their queries. Give
them the best services and do not ignore their complaints.
Keep your eyes and ears open and always be quick to adapt to
thechangingtimes.
How do you envision scaling Learnbix’s operations and
offeringsin2022and beyond?
After the pandemic, the growth of e-learning boosted in the
multi-folds. Now, with our expertise and great services, we
are extending our services to various locations in India. Our
vision is to become India’s most affordable and largest e-
st
learning company by 1 August 2025. Till 2025, we are
planning to launch our services in various states and have
1500+ happy employees. We have an incredibly positive
outlook and have been building strong content, team, systems
to make this dream possible. In terms of finance, Learnbix is
currently bootstrapped and doing business with positive
account numbers. In the future, we are looking for funding
agenciesforfurtherimprovementinourservicesandcontent.
What is your opinion on ‘The future of the education
industry post-pandemic?
Before the pandemic, the education industry was mostly
working into the offline learning model. But due to pandemic
situations, everyone accepted the online learning model. But
we should acknowledge the fact that online learning cannot
replace the offline learning model. Both have their benefits.
So, in the post-pandemic era, we would see the hybrid
learning models will come forward and these models will be
the future of the education industry. Due to many B2B start-
ups like Learnbix, the educational institutes which were not
able to invest massive amounts in content creations can now
easily implement that solution cost-effectively. The students
will get the most advanced and practical knowledge at their
fingertips due to the implementation of the hybrid model.
Access to high-quality digital material will become easier
than ever before. We are looking forward to an incredibly
positive business scenario for the education industry post-
pandemic.
