This presentation was given at a session of the Global Landscapes Forum in Lima, Peru, alongside the UNFCCC COP20.
The session, titled "Assessment of options for land use in a post-2020 world", took stock of recent publications on the subject and the current status of land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF), REDD+ and land-related CDM discussions in the UNFCCC. A presentation showed potential options for how the land sector might be included in a post-2020 ADP agreement, highlighting the relative strengths and weaknesses of those options. This set of options was discussed at a smaller workshop the week before, attended by LULUCF and REDD+ negotiators.
