Test/Exam/Ass Tips
• Do not just copy and paste from your study
guide.
• The Study Guide is merely a guide that will
assist you in answering the questions.
• It does not show that you understand the study
material.
• The overall aim of this course is that you
understand and are able to apply what you have
learned.
13. Unit 2, Slide 13
Test/Exam/Ass Tips Continue
• Proof read your answers to make sure you did
not make unnecessary mistakes. This will cost
you marks.
• Write full sentences and not just one word or two
word phrases.
• Look at the mark allocation to decide how much
information to include in your answer:
• Some students just provide too little information
to warrant all the marks.
14. Unit 2, Slide 14
Test/Exam/Ass Tips Continue
• You will have to write as much as possible.
• You cannot just write a few sentences to be able
to score full marks.
• For example a question holding 20 marks needs
much more information than a 5 mark question.
• Answer all questions. Even if you are unsure, it
is better to guess than not to answer a question
at all. If you do not answer a question, you will
certainly not receive marks.
