1. Rainforest Descriptive Essay
If you're lucky enough to travel anywhere where would you go? I chose to go to a warm climate where there is tall palm trees, it's densely populated
and it's one of the biggest states in the united states this place is California, that was the best choice I have made so far this year.
She's as smooth as a baby's bum, she felt like rubber, she was as powerful as a cheetah while she moved her tail moved up and down so she could
go to the other side of this big glass swimming pool, she tasted like sea salt from the ocean. This beautifully gentle beast jumped out of the water 3
feet in front of me I can't believe I am arm's length away from this beautiful mammal, I have always wanted to interact with a dolphin. 12 hours earlier
"I can't believe that we are going to be swimming with dolphins today" says my cousin Tanner, "I can't either I have been waiting for this moment
since I was 10" I reply then put my headphones back on. While listening to my favorite band twenty one pilots even though their lyrics are
depressing and deep but they sound happy while they are singing them I gazed out of the car window and saw hot sand and huge walls of rock
with a few green prickly cacti I saw that we were still in Arizona at 10am. The next thing I knew it was 11:30am and we just crossed the border of
California at first you couldn't tell if it was Arizona or California because you could still see some desert, but then we went down this tall hill and all
you saw was bright thick

3. Descriptive Essay : A Bad Day
A Bad Day
I collapsed to my knees and clutched the shag carpet underneath me. My chest heaved as I forced breath after trembling breath from my lips. I
coughed and choked on my saliva. My muscles were still quaking and my head was still buzzing from the adrenaline surge. This day was not
supposed to happen like this. Tears poured down my face as a sob escaped from my mouth before I could stop it: " Why."
I had the whole day planned out to the finest details. I was going to surprise my girlfriend with a breakfast in bed, drive her to work and bring her
coffee during her lunch break. It all went perfectly. When we got home I lead her to the dining room and sat her down.
"Wait here for just a moment," My voice light with anticipation, "i'll be right back." I hurried to the living room and set up the music and lit the
candles I set up earlier. I checked the coffee table and made sure the box was still sitting between two wine glasses. I breathed deeply through my
nose and played the music then hurried back to the dining room. I felt tension coil throughout my body. As I rounded the corner I saw her gazing
dreamily out the window, she turned. Our gazes met and she greeted me with a dazzling smile. How did I get so lucky? She was perfect, beautiful,
kind, loving, compassionate. The tension fled from my being as I was entranced by that small action.
I smiled back and gently took her hand to lead her to the living room. The music was starting to pick up now –– Lady in Red. She

4. Descriptive Essay On A Tree
Our tree was a wonderful place. It continuously changed throughout the year, and we continuously witnessed its changes. During science class,
occasionally Safiyya and I would walk down with the entire class to the vast of trees near South Lakes High School. While we were visiting that area,
we would note qualitative, quantitative observations and inferences about our adopted a tree. Since it was in the Deciduous Forest biome, most times
out of five times we visited, it rained. As the year progressed, out predictions were based on the weather. For example, in September, we knew it
would be chillier. During chilly weather, we knew it would activate the leaves to fall off. Thus in the weather of autumn, we predicted amber foliage.
The entire project's purpose was to see the progression of the tree at Snake Den/ Difficult Run.
Our tree isn't fitting into the description of tall or short. Its high is about the middle height compared to the rest of the trees in the vicinity. Its leaves
were spiky at the edges of the leaf. The coloration of the leaf was similar to the rest of the leaves, except it was paler. Leaves on the tree were attached
to the twigs that the trunk shot out. Branches on it were really thin and wispy, it looked as if one yank to the limb it would gently drop. The trunk of
the entire tree was crooked compared to other trees. None of the other trees were perfectly straight, but our tree was especially twisted. It starts out
fine, then slowly leans to the right. There aren't any other major branches that sprout from the trunk. Throughout the year, our trees progressed like
any other tree would. All leaves were darkened to bright vivid shades and some even faded to gray, one common thing is that they all had a glossy
top and a matte green on the underside. Soon the snow would drown base of the trunk. It would melt and nourish the life of the tree and leaves will
grow again. The cycle will always continue until the death of this tree comes. Overall our tree was on the skinnier side and it compared to other trees
as microscopic.
Keeping the measurements was vital in this project. The numbers told if there was growth in the one tree we were surveilling. On the first day of
visiting the tree, it was

Descriptive Essay
It was a seemingly beautiful day as I drove on a joy ride in my bright blue sports car, with the wind in my hair. This is an everyday activity for me.
My friends would mock me saying, "You spend more money on gas than you make working." I laughed to myself at the thought of jokes amongst my
friends. That happiness was soon halted. As I continued driving, I saw a car coming rapidly around the curve. The car did not show any signs of
slowing down as it headed towards the intersection. The light turned yellow and then quickly red. Another object caught my eye that made me fear
what was going to happen next. A young couple started crossing the street wearing fancy attire. The first thought that came to mind was, 'they are

One of the police officers came up to me introduced himself, asked me my name and started, "Have you ever seen this driver before? On the road or
around town?" I quickly responded, "No, I have not officer." He continued, "I learned from the call back to the station that the driver, David Chrisenger,
is considered the town drunk and does not currently have a valid license due to drinking and driving". He asked me some questions and asked me to
fill out an incident report. Still shaken up by the whole incident I gladly accepted. The officer ended our conversation. "Thank you so much for your
time, Kevin. We really appreciate it."
The only thought running through my head on my way home was how much I had not appreciated my wife and children. To witness something of
that nature makes one conscientious about what you have and how quickly it could vanish. I vowed after that day to speak out against drinking
and driving and the terrible outcomes that can transpire from something that some do not view as a "big deal". It is apparent that better ways have to
be found for getting drunk drivers off the road. I encourage anyone to be responsible for their lives and others by agreeing to never drink and drive
again, and to also aid your family and friends in doing so. Have a designated driver each night or call a cab. Everyone is capable of saving a

6. Descriptive Essay Trip
One of the greatest ways to learn about the world around us is to take a trip to visit new places. This past summer, I flew from my home in Florida to
take a road trip with my aunt from Roanoke, Virginia. We went to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was an amazing experience to be able to visit the place
where my family originated.
Our trip started in Roanoke where my aunt and I made our way to Canada driving through the night. Unfortunately, since it was dark, I was unable to
see anything. I did, however, get to have time to talk with my aunt and get to know her a little better. After a long eleven hour drive, we finally made
it to our Canadian destination. After resting a few hours at another aunt's house in Milton, I was ready to become tourist for a few days. My first stop
was Niagara Falls just north of the Canadian border.
Niagara Falls is the largest waterfall by volume in North America; and is one of the largest tourist attractions. Even though it was extremely
crowded making viewing difficult; the experience was worth the inconvenience. I was able to walk around and see some of the area surrounding the
falls. The town of Niagara has great places to shop, as well as, wonderful restaurants. I enjoyed spending time with both of my aunts and one uncle.
On the way back to my aunt's house we stopped off at my favorite restaurant, Swiss Chalet. This franchise is only in Canada, which makes it a must
stop place for my family and I to eat. In my opinion, their chicken and

7. Descriptive Essay On A Cat
On February 5th, 2016 my family adopted our cat named Blair, but his story goes back much before that time. My family has had pets before, but
they have all wandered into our family and we kept them. The first pet we sought out didn't fit our folk so we, unfortunately had to give him up.
Blair was the next pet we were searching to find and we were nervous. The idea to get a cat was when school started and my mom, who sews at
home all day, was lonely without the kids at home with her. She started talking about all our previous kittens and soon we were on board. During
this time my mom had to go to Ohio often for her dad and we saw the perfect time to surprise her. Unplanned that Sunday, my dad brought up the
idea to go look to see if the surrounding animal shelters had any kittens. The first two we went to didn't have any cats under the age of 4 which
wasn't our inclination. I quickly googled and found one last place to try on our way home and that is where we found success. The shelter was
filled with people socializing with the animals and they warmly welcomed us. An employee explained to us that it was not kitten season but all their
cats were young and small. The first cat room had the older cats and they were less active. I enjoyed playing with the cats and thought that I had
picked out one that seemed energetic. My dad recommended to go to the second room and these cats were much friendlier. My brother and I sat and
watched each cat and how they interacted for a long
