Control. I enjoy travel and am currently working in Afghanistan. This posting does not allow me to travel or
interact with the local culture as it is on a military installation. I would prefer to find a posting that allows me to
interact with the local people during my time off.
I am a motivated trained professional with more than 30 years Air Traffic Control (ATC) experience gained
while serving in the United States Marine Corps (Combined Tower/TRACON facility), working for the Federal
Aviation Administration (Lafayette, LA Tower/TRACON combined facility & Chicago O'Hare TRACON) and as a
Contractor providing Air Traffic Control services both in the U.S. and abroad. I am confident that I would be a
great addition to your team.
My resume highlights my ATC experience that could greatly benefit the operational effectiveness of your
facility. In addition to my ATC experience I not only trained during my FAA career, but worked for Raytheon
training full time at the Chicago O'Hare TRACON for 2.5 years after I retired. As an instructor I was responsible
for training both new hires as well as current certified controllers on all new airspace changes and refresher
training. This allowed me to keep my skills sharp as we instructed both classroom and simulator. My current
posting at Bagram AB has further enhanced my abilities as the traffic is busy and unpredictable.
