To whom it may concern,
I am interested in the labeling and packaging position. Although my background is in
Food Production, I gained multiple skills by working throughout the production facility.
I started out as a Prep Cook following recipes, organizing products, using commercial
equipment and communicating issues to management. Shortly after being hired I was
promoted to Kitchen Lead, where I continued to develop leadership skills. A year after
that I was promoted to Production Supervisor.
As a Production Supervisor being responsible for 40 people tested my skills and abilities.
I spent hours working with the leads of each line fine tuning everything, which included
running each piece of commercial equipment that I was responsible for as well as
equipment on the other production lines. Hard work, willingness to gain new skills and
the ability to learn quickly are all traits which I feel would aid me in the position you
have available.
