Use 's with a person to talk about
possessions:

NOT The car of Anne.
3. POSSESSIVE ´S
Use 's with irregular plural people
(men, women, children, people):
That is children's school.
NOT that is the school of the children.
Use 's with regular plural people:
It is my parents' house.
NOT It is the house of my parents.
NOT It is my parents's house.
They´re boys' toys.
NOT They´re the toys of the boys.
NOT They´re the boys's toys.
4. POSSESSIVE ´S
's is not usually used with things:
The end of the movie.
NOT The movie's end.
The battle of Boyaca.
NOT The Boyaca’s battle.
Be careful with 's :
Maria's brother - 's - = Relationship.
Maria’s a lawyer - 's - = Maria is a
lawyer.
