I am a hard working student looking to begin my career in the world of business. My aim is
to progress to management positions in the near future. I have enjoyed several elements of
my business management degree, but the subjects that have engaged me most are people
orientated. I feel my greatest skills lie in interpersonal relationships and people
management.

Work Experience
Sep 2015 – May 2016 Marketing Consultant, Miles Hire LTD
This role was undertaken as part of the final year project for my
degree. The project involved working with other students to provide a
social media marketing service for a tool hire company based in
Swansea.
Dec 2015 – Mar 2016 Bar Staff, The Perch Food & Liquor
This role involved all the duties I had previously undertaken in my
time working in bars. At this establishment the guests were provided
with table service. I also had the opportunity to work in the sister
hotel.
Mar 2015 – Dec 2015 Floor Staff, Flickering Light Night Club
In this role my primary duties were general bar tasks such as
maintaining cleanliness and assisting in keeping the bar stocked.
Apr 2014 – Feb 2015 Floor supervisor, Monkey Bar & Café
In this role as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the building
throughout the night my duties also included assisting with cash
floating and supervising the rest of the floor staff ensuring all the floor
2. work was completed. I was also trained on the bar where I was often
left to run the bar alone.
Sep 2010 – Mar 2014 Team Member, KFC
My primary duties were working the front counter interacting with
customers and ensuring they were delivered their food in a quick and
friendly manner. I also participated with training new crew members.
Sep 2010 – Jun 2012 Volunteer, British Heart Foundation Furniture & Electrical
I worked as a sales assistant which would involve assisting customers
in finding the products that they wanted. I was also responsible for
assembling the display furniture, and occasionally assisting with
deliveries.
Interests
My personal interests include longboarding and skateboarding in which I am a founding
committee member for my university’s society. This was a social role which helped me meet
many people and allowed hone my social skills. As social secretary I found myself in
leadership/organisational roles.
I also enjoy live music and frequently attend local open mic nights and concerts. I am also a
fan of cinema making frequent visits.
