4. Brandin Jansen vanVuuren, 36, I am the Head of Corporate Sales for Canon Coastal. I am responsible for Corporate
Strategy within the Canoa Group of companies. Key areas including ExistingCorporate Accounts, Integration,
professional services/shared services, RFP/RFQ’s, POC’s, SOW’s, Management Solutions, FM Audit, and positioning MPS
within the Business Connexion channel (Listed IT Channel Partner, and the biggest ICT company in South Africa) which is
the Group’s main Strategy for targeting new Corporate Accounts. I work with BusinessConnexion to enable Sales by
offering the right solutions to meet their customers requirements.
I began my Career with Canon Western Cape in 2008 as a Sales Manager were I was responsible for 2 sales teams, new
business development and key accounts. Since then I’ve held 3 positions within the Sales Department, most recently as
Head of Corporate Sales.
I currently hold a SMDP (Post Graduate) and busy with my BA (hons) in Business Management.
What gets Brandin going in life? I am a very keen athlete. Fit body, fit mind concept! Mainly endurance sports like trail
running, road running and K1 paddling. I am a family man, 3 beautiful kids and a lovely supporting wife. I don’t take life for
granted! I love the feeling of accomplishment and the success of it. I don’t believe in giving up! I might not get it right all
the time, but I will learn from the experience and come back. My Career is important to me! I am a company “man”. I
learn, I do, and I achieve. People skills, and effective communication are key areas of success.
