2. SOCIAL GROUPS
• The social groups that our media product represents are working and middle class, this is
for several reasons such as the way they speak, talk and act, dress and walk.
3. LANGUAGE AND DIALOGUE
• In the product both characters talk
very cockney and informal and this
could prove that the product
represents people that are of working
and middle class. The language that is
used in the product is very informal
and slang, and the way that they
speak could represent peoples
interpretations of them.
• In the product Amy says ‘Oh My God’
and the way she says this shows us
that she could be of working or middle
class because of her cockney accent.
Whereas people that are upper class
normally and stereotypically speak
quite well spoken ad we could
represent them as posh.
4. MISC-EN-SCENE AND AGE RANGE
• The misc-en-scene in the product represents
teenagers and the middle and working class, this is
because the setting that the product is set in is a
school and the way that the product is filmed (by a
hand-held video camera) represents the social class
an audience of the product.
• The clothing that the characters are wearing in the
product are quite standard and plain and this shows
us that the product is represented towards an
audience of middle and working class, the colors
are quite natural and basic and bland.
• As well as the clothing the make-up and facial
expressions help to represent teenagers and the
target audience for our product. This is because the
clothing and the make-up and the setting helps to
represent the characters.
