Re: Recommendation for Mr. Charles “Bo” Jeffcoat
To Whom It May Concern:
I am a founding partner and the Chief Legal Officer of Epec Biofuels Holdings, Inc. a company
involved in the development of advanced biofuel technology. It is with great pleasure that I take this
opportunity to write a letter of recommendation in support of Mr. Charles “Bo” Jeffcoat, a business associate
and now a personal friend.
We first met Mr. Jeffcoat during the formative stages of our company, at a series of business networking
events in 2008 and 2009. It was obvious to us at that time that Mr. Jeffcoat had significant business experience
and strong knowledge of business and marketing. Not only was he able to quickly grasp the subtle nuances of
our business model, but he was able to identify and articulate both business opportunities and existing threats to
our success. Bo’s insights proved correct as we began to execute our business plan.
In 2010 we engaged Mr. Jeffcoat as a consultant for special projects in the Southeast region, including
assisting the company in developing relationships with federal, state and local officials. Bo’s warm demeanor
coupled with his personal and business contacts lead to immediate success. Bo guided the company through the
maze of bureaucracy and played an instrumental role in helping the company to create relationships with U.S.
Senators such as Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker (Miss), U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu (La), Mississippi
Governor Phil Bryant and former Governor Haley Barbour, among many other state and local officials in
Florida, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana, including Mike Williams director of finance at Louisiana Economic
Development, and the University of Mississippi, Southern University, among many other local officials and
businessmen.
In addition to his innate business sense, one of Mr. Jeffcoat’s strengths is his ability to quickly develop a
rapport and strong personal bond with a variety of individuals -- whether a cab-driver or an administrative
assistant, to the executive management of an international conglomerate or high ranking government officials.
This is clearly one of Bo’s personal strengths and one of the key attributes that has no doubt led to his past
business success.
Throughout the time period that I have worked with Bo, he has welcomed the challenges and
assignments that have been delegated to him, and he has successfully completed each task. Having worked
closely with Bo over the past few years, I can state unequivocally that I have been impressed by Mr. Jeffcoat’s
abilities and consistently pleased with the results of his efforts. I have no doubt that Mr. Jeffcoat will continue
his success in his future endeavors.
