Pam Shields
GLOBAL PRESENCE WITH LOCAL IMPACT
Imagine the excitement that a foreign student might feel
after being accepted into a graduate program in one of
the many renowned Boston area universities. Imagine their
dismay when they discovers just how challenging it can be to
find housing in this area and to navigate the Boston market
from halfway around the world. The demand for housing is
high, the supply, not so much. Pam Shields has developed a
system proven to work in finding the best housing available
within each student’s budget and to do so prior to their ar-
rival to the U.S.
Her services don’t stop with housing however, as she takes
her role to the next level by assisting with a myriad of details
and obstacles foreign students typically face in making this
transition. These can be of a practical nature (such as deal-
ing with the legal challenges of signing a contract while not
in the country) and often of a personal nature, addressing
the concerns natural for individuals and often their fami-
lies facing such a significant change. What Pamela Shields
has accomplished globally is truly impressive, but her local
presence speaks volumes to not only her knowledge of real
estate and attention to her clients, but also her networking
resources, which are second to none.
Born in Chile, her first career was in television, producing
children programs on channel 11. She parlayed this into a
successful events planning business. Then came a fateful
vacation to the United States. A voyage that changed every-
thing. Having fallen in love with the area, she established
roots in Brookline, went back to school, married, and estab-
lished a family. For the past 20 years, she’s focused on various
aspects of the real
estate industry. She
has held positions
as a loan processor
with a prominent
mortgage company,
a senior real estate
paralegal for a presti-
gious Boston law
firm, and in 2008 obtained her license and transitioned into
real estate sales. When looking for an agent to represent you
in any real estate transaction, few agents offer such a wide
range of experience.
Pamela’s marketing area is extensive, covering southern Mas-
sachusetts as well as the Boston area. She carries the designa-
tions of ABR and CNE and she was awarded membership into
the 100% Club in her first year of real estate, as well as attain-
ing Executive Club level for the past two years with RE/MAX
Spectrum. She has opened the door to home ownership for
many happy clients, and has successfully negotiated the sale
for many homeowners that continue to seek her advice. She
can be reached at the Plymouth office of RE/MAX Spectrum
and would welcome hearing from you.
