A web browser is a type of software that allows a
user to find and view websites on the Internet.
Commonly used web browsers
•Chrome, Safari, Internet explorer/Microsoft edge
and Mozilla Firefox.
Website - a set of related web pages located under a single domain name,
typically produced by a single person or organization.
Webpage - webpage is a part of a website; it means a website contains different
web pages.

7. Links
•links a webpage to another file, object or another
webpage
Whenever you see a word or phrase on a website
that's blue or underlined in blue, it's probably a hyperlink,
or link for short. Hey, I'm a link! Click me!
8. Navigation buttons
Back and Forward buttons – Allows user to move
through websites recently visited/viewed. User can
also click and hold either button to see the history
of recently visited websites.

website stops working, user can press this button
to refresh the current page.

History - Web browsing history refers to the list of
web pages a user has visited, as well as associated
metadata such as page title and time of visit.

Plug-ins - are small applications that allow you to
view certain types of content within your web
browser, it manages Internet content that a
browser is not designed to process.
14. Search Engine
A search engine is a web-based tool that enables
users to locate information on the World Wide
Web. Popular examples of search engines are
Google, Yahoo!, and MSN Search.
