Cloud Alliances Manager / Contract Negotiations Specialist, Cloud Products, Solutions & Services
- Responsible for all phases of developing and managing strategic alliances, cloud partner relationships,
resolved escalated issues and brought both sides to resolution.
- Led strategic negotiations and sourcing efforts for over a dozen ISV, SaaS, Cloud services and Ecosystem
Partner Agreements.
- Key member of team tasked with identifying, developing, on-boarding and managing Cloud ISVs and
partners to enhance the solutions portfolio and to launch an Online Market Place and Cloud
Partner Ecosystem.
- Worked very closely with the Product & Marketing team, brought several Cloud solutions to market.
- Chaired conference calls and led technology team project meetings with the Cloud Products, Solutions &
Services and business development groups. This included VP’s to engineering and all levels between.
- Led Proof of Concept Cloud effort for multi-platform multi-environment customer migration project.
*After four contractor renews/extensions and over two years of delivering stellar results, funding ran its
course and along with several others, my Contractor Agreement ended with amicable parting and with

Cisco Systems - Advanced Services/Global Operations, Denver, Colorado 2010 to 2011
Senior Contract Manager
Collaborated with key players to secure sales contracts for TelePresence, Stadium Vision, Quad Services/VCE,
WebEx, Tidal, Cisco Unified Communications, Data Center Solutions, and several other Cisco Advanced
Services offerings.
- Approved $35M in new SOWs and proposals for Cisco's Advanced Services Division upon comprehensive
review and analysis.
Hewlett-Packard 2004 to 2009
Senior Global Contracts Manager, Enterprise Technology Services Division
Provided expertise for renegotiation of P&G ARCs/RRCs deal for Go Green initiative. Developed and rolled
out new Statement of Work (SOW) templates, guidelines, processes, procedures, and checklists in collaboration
with PMO and Solutions Managers.
- Improved margin and kept HP whole with the effective co-management of a $3B+ P&G IT outsourcing
agreement.

- Established a comprehensive FAQ Contract Knowledge Base that leveraged lessons learned in first three
years of outsourcing contract.
- Renegotiated third party ISV software agreements and resolved relationship issues with IBM, Oracle,
Symantec, BMC, CA, and Stellent among others, effectively saving HP over $10M.
- Spearheaded a well received financial reconciliation project that saved HP $5M and was recognized by
HP’s executive management team.
HP/Global OEM Alliances Manager Cupertino, California (consultant) 1998 to 1999
Negotiated, drafted, and executed ten ISP, software, and OEM contracts and license agreements with
international telephone/internet companies headquartered in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong,
Singapore, and Mexico within just one year. Developed and managed strategic alliances and worked closely
with corporate attorneys and senior management to address issues and resolve problems.
- Led the renegotiation of a key third party alliance support contract at the request of HP Senior Management.
Efforts saved HP over $1M.
- Executed timely license agreements. Facilitated product rollout by ensuring ISP CDs were disseminated
with builds.
- Established HP’s PC division as a major player by offering value added bundling of all offered products.
WJS Consulting Services, Silicon Valley/Southern California 2000 to 2003
Alliance Management and Contract Negotiations Consultant
Guided small business owners through developing strategic relations partner agreements, drafting business
plans, employing technology, managing professional relationships, and practicing negotiation skills. Facilitated
joint product development ventures and strategic alliances. Established the framework for VC investments.
- Conducted successful negotiations on behalf of a network management software system (NMSS) company
entering into a joint venture with China and a Silicon Valley consortium.
- Developed and guided the implementation of business plan for a specialized chip start-up.

Senior Alliances Manager
Established International Strategic Relations Office that increased company visibility and solidified
relationships with clients and partners in the U.S. and Sweden. Traveled extensively to evangelize office as a
resource throughout US and Sweden. Established process to track progress toward goals.
- Recruited OEM H/W manager who was readily recognized by Senior Management for negotiating and
securing multi-national OEM hardware contracts.
- Negotiated large complex license agreements valued in excess of $10M.

EARLY CAREER
Due to success at previous companies, hired as a Senior ISV/Third Party Software & Alliances Program Manager for
National Semiconductor. Following the ISV Program’s success, was moved into Key Account Manager position followed
by a Sr. Product Marketing Management role.
