Ben was an intern this past summer at Nuveen Investments with the Defined Contribution
Investment Only (DCIO) Team. He was a stand-out intern who differentiated himself
immediately by providing a sincere interest and commitment in becoming a strong
contributor in the business world.
Over the summer months, I was very impressed by Ben’s ability to quickly adapt to a fast
paced financial services environment, always be a creative problem solver, and be highly
independent with fantastic team skills, as well. Also, he excelled in his participation at
the intern development sessions. I am positive that his communication and presentation
skills are top-notch.
I was also confident in Ben’s projects as he was very thorough and continuously checked
in to ensure that he completed assignments according to instructions. His understanding
of the DCIO Team and Nuveen Investments came through over the course of the summer
and I am confident he is a fitting candidate to consider.
Overall, Ben is a very conscientious and able individual. I truly believe he has what it
takes to make a good worker, and I am happy to have had him in the summer intern
