ln Fall 2015 the McKinney strategy team chose Katie Schmidt from a strong field of
candidates to spend two months as an intern with our department. She left us with no
doubt that we made the right choice. Time and again Katie proved herself to be
diligent, thoughtful, clever and responsible, with a fabulous sense of humor to match
her work ethic. She made valuable contributions to existing and prospective client
projects, from recruiting focus group respondents and participating in brainstorms to
writing and presenting creative briefs and providing background data and consumer
perspective.
Katie is a positive presence who conducts herself professionally and with passion. She
asks insightful questions, delivers on time and actively solicits feedback. We could
always tell that she genuinely wanted to be here learning from us and contributing to
our work. We loved having her. And l'd recommend her wholeheartedly to any
planning department seeking to add a bright young mind to their staff.
