3. Our Trailer
Our trailer will depict a spy or special agent in numerous
training exercises eventually ending with someone
confirming that the agent in question is ready for a
task
This makes the trailer take the angle of a prologue of
what to come but also to keep the viewer wondering
what might happen next
This will be a fast pace, action thriller trailer which will
have a voice over to accompany some of the clips
shown
We will also have quite a dramatic set of background
music to set the tone of the film

4. Genre
The films genre will be an action based around
the world of special agents (MI5, MI6)
A good comparison to our film would be
something in the style of the James Bond
films, action films with mystery and intrigue
thrown in to keep the audiences attention

5. Conventions
The conventions of the genre/trailer we will
include:
• Fast pace cuts and edits
• Key information (Actors, Release Date, Film Title)
• Voice over
One rule we are breaking is that we are not
showing key moments of the film as we want it
to be a teaser trailer

6. Codes of Genre
We will use darker colours on inter-titles and
title screens
We have not fully decided on our soundtrack
but it will be something fast paced to match
the editing, this will most likely be made
ourselves in programs such as Garage Band or
Soundtrack Pro

7. Audience
• Our audience will most likely be males
between 12-35
• But depending on what actors you use it may
appeal to a female audience branching over
the same age group
