to roll out on Indian roads by the end of the year 2015. Good looks, superior features and

Another new entry to the SUV segment will be the new generation Fortuner. It was launched
in India originally in the year 2009 and has not received any major uplifts since then. One of
the largest SUVs here, Fortuner is gifted with fantastic road presence and awesome
performance. In spite of its high price, this car has been received well in the Indian markets.
The fresh Fortuner is expected to be in the markets only by the end of next year.
Launched almost a decade ago, Toyota Innova is one of the hottest selling MPV in the
country. Renowned for its fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs, Innova offers good ride
and performance along with the best of features. The next generation 2014 Toyota Innova is
expected to make its appearance by early 2016.It will surely provide more comfort, style and

2. Just below the new Innova, Toyota is planning to bring into India the Avanza - an entry level
mini MPV. It was introduced in 2003 and is already running well in many foreigncar
markets. Expected in a price range of Rs 7 to 12 lakhs, the Avanza will have a solid build
quality, posh interiors and efficient performance.
Toyota Hiace is another potential newcomer to our car market. It is basically a van which can
carry more than 10 people in one go. Commercial enterprises and media have already
appreciated the vehicle when it was showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. Hiace is now
expected to be officially launched by the end of this year and it may fall in the higher price
range of Rs 25-30 lakhs.
