The month of September 2023 will be of immense significance for our country as India hosted the G20
Summit on 9th & 10th September 2023 at New Delhi. India’s Presidency of the G20 from 01st December
2022 to 30th November 2023 has placed it in a pride of place on the global map, especially at a time
when we are all marching together towards realising Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s dream
of a developed India by 2047, the year when we will celebrate 100 years of Independence. The 18th
G20 Summit was a culmination of all the G20 processes and meetings held throughout the year among
Ministers, Senior Officials and Civil Societies. A G20 Leaders’ Declaration was adopted at the conclusion
of the G20 Summit, stating Leaders’ commitment towards the priorities discussed and agreed upon
during the respective ministerial and working group meetings.
We celebrated our country’s 77th Independence Day on 15th August 2023. The theme for this year's
celebration was "Nation First, Always First". This year too, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was
organised by the Ministry of Culture, GOI to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it
with great pride. Over the last year, collectively as a nation, we have developed a personal connection
with the Tiranga and showcased our commitment to nation-building by bringing it home.
It is customary to celebrate Hindi Divas and Hindi Pakhwada in September. Like every year, this year
too, host of programs were organised. Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated with much fervour in our
factories and offices in the Eastern Region on 18th September 2023. Employees paid reverence to the
God of Tools and prayed for the well-being of the organisation and its people. The 106th AGM of our
Company was conducted online on 27th September 2023. Directors of the Company, Company Secretary
and Shareholders connected virtually. We will bring you glimpses of all these events in the October
2023 issue of BLOOM.
The country has joined the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign to create
a ‘Garbage Free India’. Please do your bit to make this campaign a
success.
We are gearing up for the festive season! We celebrated Janmashtami, Ganesh Chathurti, Bakri Eid,
Onam and Vishwakarma Puja and in October and November we would celebrate Durga Puja / Vijaya
Dashami / Dussehra and Diwali. BLOOM extends its best wishes to you and your family for all the

The Vacations, Delhi team organised the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023, Chief Minister
Interaction with Industry Leaders on 21st August 203 at Hotel Taj Maan Singh Road, New Delhi for the
Directorate of Industries, Uttarakhand Government.
Balmer Lawrie’s Travel implant at AIIMs, Delhi was inaugurated by Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble
Minister of State for Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India and Mr. M Srinivas, Director,
AIIMs, Delhi on 15th August 2023.

An MOU was signed by Travel, Delhi with Bokaro Steel Plant for SBT. COO [Travel], Balmer Lawrie and
GM [HR], Administration, Bokaro Steel signed the MOU on 6th September 2023.

A lunch & learn session of Air France and
Delta Airlines was organised on 26th July
2023 at the Northern Region Office,
Okhla, New Delhi. There were 29
attendees who actively participated in
quizzes organised by the airlines and
won exciting prizes. During the session,
Air France also announced their
partnership with the Olympic Association
as the official airline of the Olympic and
the Paralympic Games 2024.
Balmer Lawrie was the travel partner for the Indian Senior Hockey team that participated in the Men's
Hockey5s Asia Cup Salalah 2023 held in Oman from 29th August to 02nd September 2023. Balmer
Lawrie also managed the travel of the Indian Women’s Hockey team that left from Bengaluru to take
part in the Women’s Asian Hockey5s World Cup Qualifier, which was held from 25th to 28th August in
Salalah, Oman.
Travel arrangements were done for the Indian Shooting team that participated in the 2023 ISSF World
Shooting Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 14th August to 01st September 2023.

Vessel chartering for ISRO
Balmer Lawrie handled the chartering of a vessel for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for its
voyage in the Pacific Ocean for tracking of the launch of Aditya 1 satellite project. The period of the
voyage was from 15th August to 20th September 2023.
Balmer Lawrie handled the travel of a 14-member squad representing the Indian Futsal National Team
that played two matches against the Bahrain on 12th and 14th August 2023. The Indian Futsal Team
made their international debut with these two matches.
Mr. Adika Ratna Sekhar, Chairman & Managing Director and Mr. Rajinder Kumar IES, Government
Nominee Director visited the Industrial Packaging plant on 29th August 2023. During their visit, they
inspected the facility, interacted with the employees and planted trees there.

The Travel Business had started a new initiative ‘Achiever of the Month’ from June 2023. The winners
are presented with a bouquet, a certificate and they have lunch with the SBU Head and Function
Heads. The ‘Certificate of Excellence’ signed by Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, COO [Travel] and Regional HR
Head [North] is awarded to the ‘Achievers of the Month’ as a token of appreciation for their outstanding
performance, exceptional contribution, exemplary work ethics and commitment to excellence. With
their dedication and positive attitude, they have set a remarkable example for their colleagues, and
have significantly contributed to the success of the Travel vertical of SBU: Travel & Vacations. There

The ISO certification audit was successfully completed at the Industrial Packaging plant at Taloja, Navi
Mumbai on 31st August 2023. The audit was conducted by Mr. Sachin Birwadkar, Lead Auditor and his
team from International Certificate Services [ICS].
Mr. Sushant Kambale, Senior Sourcing Manager from Firmenich Aromatics Ltd. visited the Industrial
Packaging plant at Taloja, Navi Mumbai on 25th August 2023. During his visit he went around the plant,
including shop floor, observed the manufacturing operations and interacted with the Executives. He
appreciated the plant infrastructure and facility.
Industrial Packaging (IP) - Silvassa Happenings
A team building training was organised for
Executives and Officers of IP - Silvassa on
02nd August 2023.
A training session on Static Discharge was
held on 10th August 2023.

The half yearly HSE audit was conducted at IP - Silvassa on 23rd August 2023.
As part of the cybersecurity awareness sessions being conducted by Corporate IT to prevent / minimize
cyber-attacks, a vulnerability assessment on Operation Technology devices was initiated on 24th August
2023.
An HSE quality training was organised at IP – Silvassa on 25th August 2023.
A training session focused on the vital aspects of Performance Management System for the employees
of Travel business was organised on 29th August 2023 in Delhi. The session covered the significance of
setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) Key Performance Targets
(KPTs). Participants were equipped with practical insights on offering constructive feedback and
mastering the art of handling challenging conversations – essential skills for fostering growth and
communication within the team. The training, which was conducted by Mr. Siddhartha Das Barman, VP
[HR], Corporate HR Department was very well received.

Renowned motivational speaker Sri Anish addressed all employees of the Corporate Office at Kolkata
on "Magic of Holistic Wellbeing for Growth, Success & Joyfulness," on 29th August 2023. His session
was about discovering ‘Ananda’ or happiness in life. His talk emphasized on holistic wellbeing and a
journey of self-discovery, emphasizing the importance of physical, mental, and emotional health.
Participants learnt ways to enhance personal and professional growth while fostering a sense of
joyfulness. Through his enriching experience, attendees gained insights into achieving balance and
harnessing inner potential. This session was a reaffirmation of our commitment to holistic wellbeing as
a cornerstone for individual and collective success.
Diving into the realm of financial know-how, an online wealth awareness session was conducted for
employees of Balmer Lawrie on 11th August 2023. The objective of the session was simple yet
powerful: to equip our employees with the knowledge to make smart financial choices and secure their
financial well-being. The session highlighted the value of saving, investing, and building financial
security and covered essential topics, like setting financial goals and sticking to a smart financial
routine. The session emphasized the golden rule of starting early with Systematic Investment Planning
(SIP) and planning for the long run. It also covered ways to manage risks, ensuring our employees are
prepared to protect their financial future.

News from Visakhapatnam Port Logistics Park Ltd. (VPLPL)
A Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. – Visakhapatnam Port Authority JV
Visakhapatnam Port Logistics Park Ltd. witnessed the maiden container rake movement from its
Container Freight Station on 22nd July 2023.
India made history on 23rd August 2023 as its Moon mission became the first to land in the lunar south
pole region. With this, India joined an elite club of countries to achieve a soft landing on the Moon,
after the US, the former Soviet Union and China. The Vikram lander from Chandrayaan-3 successfully
touched down as planned and all Indians celebrated with great pride. Balmer Lawriens at the Corporate
Office got together to watch the live telecast of the landing and celebrated the historic moment.

Balmer Lawrie joined the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and celebrated the 77th Independence Day with
much fervour on 15th August 2023. The Tiranga was hoisted in different units / establishments of the

Joshua Roy is a simple and dedicated person, always wanting to explore different
facets of life. After his graduation, he joined Maersk as a Management Trainee and
later became an employee and grew in the organisation holding various portfolios
including managing yard, customs, EXIM warehouse and cold chain warehouse.
Alongside his professional life, he has travelled and explored many new places.
Travel and exploring happens to be a passion in his life and he enjoys going on
trekking to various places. He is happily married to Vaishnavi and blessed with
Harshan Roy, their 4-year old son. Personally, he is a cool person to work with and

Mr. Saurav Das joined Greases & Lubricants - Kolkata as Senior Manager

Saurav Das has worked for the French and Japanese MNCs, Total Energies and
Idemitsu Lube India Pvt. Ltd. and has more than 12 years of experience in channel
and OEM sales. His sweet, small and lovable family comprises his parents, wife and
adorable daughter. He loves to do cooking on weekends or on some special
occasions. Swimming and cycling keep him rejuvenated. He believes in living and
enjoying his wonderful life together with loved ones and feels that one should always
look inside, as our eyes and heart act in sync to show the right path. He always looks

Mr. Prabu Chakkravarthy joined Logistics Infrastructure - Manali, Chennai as
Deputy Manager [Operations] on 3rd August 2023.
Prabu Chakkravarthy belong to Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his B. Tech in
Computer Science from Amrita University, Coimbatore and MBA in International
Transportation and Logistics from Indian Maritime University, Chennai. He has 9+
years of experience in the field of Logistics. He was previously associated with
Ferrero India Pvt. Ltd. and was handling the regional logistics for South India. His
passion is travelling, and he has travelled to 15 states in India and aims to cover all
the states of the country. He has five members in his family including his parents,
wife and 3-year-old son. He feels it is a great honour to be part of the Balmer Lawrie

Rishav Thakur describes himself as a well turned out, soft spoken and fascinating
individual with a unique blend of creativity. He is a qualified Cost and Management
Accountant and has commendable experience in auditing, taxation and finance. His
warm and approachable demeanor instantly puts others at ease, making him an
excellent communicator and a great listener. He has an inquisitive nature and tries

Mr. Sunil Ramkisan Shinde joined Logistics Infrastructure - Dronagiri,
Mumbai as Asst. Manager [Operations] on 3rd August 2023.
Sunil Ramkisan Shinde is from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra and is currently residing in
Navi Mumbai. He completed his schooling and graduation from places near
Ahmednagar. After graduation, he did his MBA in International Transportation and
Logistics Management from Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam. During his
post-graduation, he did an internship at JNPT’s Container Terminal. After completing
his post-graduation, he joined DP World Nhava Sheva in 2020 and worked there as
Executive in the Operations and Documentation Department for around 2.8 years.
His hobbies include cycling, trekking, gardening, exploring new places and listening
to music. He lives with five other members of his family, including his father,

Dillibabu is a proud MSc Chemistry post-graduate from Guru Nanak College. Hailing
from Kundrathur, he finds immense joy in playing cricket, carrom and chess, as well
as immersing himself in the world of books. The philosophy of his revolves around
cherishing each moment, maintaining a constant smile, and lending a helping hand to
others. Within the nurturing embrace of his family consisting of his father Gajendran,
mother Saraswathi, and beloved wife Monisha, he finds unwavering support. His

Ms. Adrija Biswas joined Logistics Services - Hyderabad as Asst. Manager
[Sales & Marketing] on 16th August 2023.
Adrija Biswas honed skills in making disconnected choices in life! She is an Engineer,
academically; but, more of a marketing enthusiast. She is (pretty much) analytical,
and practical in her approach towards problems. Hailing from Kolkata, she is an avid
reader, cook and pet lover. She worked in couple of sectors prior to joining Balmer
Lawrie; interacted with lots of people from varied cultures and has been to multiple
places; thus, travelling, communicating and establishing interpersonal relationships
has been an integral part of her learning journey. Further, she hopes to get a more
holistic picture of different perceptions, professionally, to understand different views,

Monishaa Kumari also known as Monisha / Moni to people, is a Chartered Accountant
with 2 years of experience in the construction and textile industries. She did her
schooling in Erode, Tamil Nadu and her graduation in PSG CAS, Coimbatore, Tamil
Nadu. Her's is a nuclear family with three members, her dad, mom and herself. In
her school days, she was a badminton and chess player, and as years passed by the

Ms. Nadine Ebenezer joined Trevel & Vacations - Chennai as Asst. Manager

Nadine Ebenezer joined as a Trainee on 03.08.2020 and from 03.08.2023 onwards
she has been absorbed as Assistant Manager (Sales & Operations). After completing
her MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management at NITHM - Hyderabad, she joined
Balmer Lawrie-Vacations in 2020 as a Management Leisure Consultant Trainee. After
3 years of work experience with the Vacations Chennai team, she is delighted to be

Mr. Arun Kumar joined Travel & Vacations - Delhi as Officer [Collection] on
10th August 2023.
Arun Kumar belongs to Uttar Pradesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc)
from Bhim Rao Ambedkar University. Prior to joining Balmer Lawrie in this role, he
was engaged at Balmer Lawrie though Genius Consultants Limited for seventeen
years. With a keen interest in Collection, his hobbies include watching movies and
cricket. Arun Kumar looks forward to giving his best at Balmer Lawrie.
Mr. Suraj Kumar joined Logistics Services - Ludhiana as Officer [Sales &
Marketing] on 01st August 2023.
Suraj Kumar is 29 years old and belongs to Ludhiana - Punjab. He lives with his
parents. In 2021, he completed his Graduation (Bachelors of Arts) from Lovely
Professional University - Ludhiana. After that, he continued his studies for post
graduation in MBA (Marketing & Operation). He pursued a career in the Shipping &
Logistics industries and has 5 years experience. He started his career as an
Operations Executive and then shifted to Documentation for learning purpose. Prior
to joining Balmer Lawrie, he was working with Sarjak Container Line Pvt. Ltd. as a
Sales Executive for Punjab and Kanpur markets to handle Over Dimensional Project
Cargo. His inspiration and hero is his father who motivates him to work hard and

Ms. Neeraj Rani joined Travel & Vacations - Delhi as Officer [Accounts &
Finance] on 10th August 2023.
Neeraj Rani completed her MBA in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University in 2016.
Prior to joining Balmer Lawrie in this role, she was engaged with Spectrum Talent and
Genius Consultants Ltd. Her strengths are that she is a self-motivated person and a
hard worker. Her weaknesses are that she wants to improve herself and complete
work on time. Her hobbies include listening to music, and she likes to visit natural

Sanjay Kumar Singh is from Varanasi (UP). Currently he is living with his parents in
Delhi. There are six members in his family including him. He completed his
graduation in BCom. He has more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry.
His strengths lie in being a self-motivated person, a positive thinker and a hard
worker. His weakness is that he always wants to improve himself and has trust

Mr. Atanu Roy joined Logistics Infrastructure (CFS) - Kolkata as Officer
[Warehouse Operations] on 10th August 2023.
Atanu joined Balmer Lawrie on as Officer, W&D Operations in Kolkata. He has been
an Associate with Balmer Lawrie for the last 12 years in various roles in W&D yard
and W&D HRC. After joining, he took care of day-to-day activities in all operations,
stocks and billing. He believes that hard work, honesty, self-belief and dedication is
the key mantra for success, which he follows always. He is happy to get the
opportunity to work in the FTC position with this esteemed organisation which is 156
years old with rich history and legacy and running so successfully. His hobby is to
help others during any health issues, and he has the habit of studying medical
journals to learn about health-related issues and their remedies.

Ms. Savita Sagar Samant joined Logistics Services - Mumbai as Officer
[Remittance] on 10th August 2023.
Savita Sagar Sawant is a part of the Balmer Lawrie family. She has been associated
with the organisation for the past 12 years as an outsourced employee. Talking about
her work ethics, she is a very disciplined person and hard working, and she is a team
player. One word to describe her working style would be 'Multitasking'. She belongs to
Mumbai. She has done her Graduation from Mumbai University. She follows a healthy
lifestyle; hence, yoga and exercises are part of her routine. The best rule that she
follows in life is learning and adapting in any situation.
Mr. Joy Chakraborty joined Engineering & Projects - Kolkata as Officer
[Accounts Assistant] on 10th August 2023.
Joy Chakraborty lives in Harinavi, Kolkata. He completed his BCom (Hons) from
Calcutta University and has been working as an Accountant and Accounts Assistant for
the last 23 years in different companies. His family consists of five members including
him, his parents, wife and daughter. His parents and his wife are his real inspiration
because they have supported him in every phase of his life. In his free time, he

Yadavendra Ambadas Makone is working with Balmer Lawrie for the last 13 years as

Mr. Jaydeep Janardan Jadhav joined Travel & Vacations - Mumbai as Officer
Jaydeep Janardan Jadhav has been with the Travel division of Balmer Lawrie for the
last 18 Years, starting from May 2006. He was working as Collection Executive,
handling prestigious clients like Reserve Bank of India, Hindustan Petroleum Co. Ltd.
etc. As a Collection Executive his main focus was on timely submission of bills,
solving client queries and timely payment collection to achieve monthly targets. His
weekend hobbies include travelling with family, meeting friends and relatives. He
also loves playing cricket and badminton. He belongs to Mumbai in Maharashtra. His
family consists of 5 members, his mother, wife, son and brother. He feels the best
part of working with Balmer Lawrie is that all the staff are like family, and all the
Senior Officers are very supportive and helpful. After Covid-19, BL Travel & Vacations

Mr. Santosh Awadhesh Shah joined Travel & Vacations - Mumbai as Officer
It has been fifteen years and two months since July 2008 that Santosh Awadhesh
Shah has been part of the Travel division in the Commercial Department. As a
Collection Officer he is responsible for interactions with clients to ensure the timely
collection of payments. His hobbies include playing cricket and chess. He got the
opportunity to represent his college in an intercontinental college chess
championship held in Mumbai. He is also involved in other social activities - “नागरी
संरक्षण संचालनालय, महाराष्ट्र राज्य". He likes to listen to music. His family consists of five
members; his father who is enjoying his retirement, his wife a homemaker, and two
children, a daughter and son who are studying. Every human being on this Earth is
unique, not only in terms of appearance but also for inherent characteristics. All the

Mr. Suresh Kumar M joined Industrial Packaging - Manali, Chennai as Officer
[Operations] on 14th August 2023.
Suresh Kumar is from Chennai. He completed his graduation in 2004 from Madras
University. Also, he completed a Retail Management course in 2005 from RPG
Institute, Chennai. He started his career with M/s Food World as Accounts Associate
and L Cube Innovative Solution as Data Entry Analyst. After that he joined in Balmer
Lawrie’s Fabricator plant situated at Tiruvottriyur, Chennai as an outsourced staff in
2007. Now he has joined as Officer (Plant Operations) in Industrial Packaging,
Chennai and believes that he would have a great experience in plant manufacturing
activities and Supply Chain Management at Balmer Lawrie and would get to learn new
things here.
Mr. Santosh Machhindra Wakchoure joined Travel & Vacations - Mumbai as
Officer [Accounts & Finance] on 10th August 2023.
Santosh Machhindra Wakchoure has been part of the Travel division in Accounts &
Finance for fifteen years and seven months as an outsourced employee. He is
interested in learning about other cultures and meeting new people. His weekend
hobbies include travelling and meeting friends and relatives. His family consists of five
members including his mother, wife and two children. He enjoys working here very

Mr. C Kandan joined Logistics Infrastructure - Manali, Chennai as Officer
Kandan belongs to Chennai in Tamil Nadu. He completed SSLC in 1996 from School
Education Board in Tamil Nadu and 12th Intermediate in 1998 from Higher Secondary
Board in Tamil Nadu. He acquired his first Degree (1999 - 2001) from Madras
University in Tamil Nadu. He has almost 21 years of work experience in Balmer
Lawrie, Chennai. His family comprises of his wife and only one daughter. His work is

Mr. G Velmurugan joined Logistics Infrastructure - Manali, Chennai as Officer

Selvamani E is from Chennai and has completed his post-graduation and acquired a

years of experience in the field of Logistics. He has previously worked in Balmer
Lawrie as a third party payroll employee (Spectrum Talent Management Ltd. &
Genius Consultants Ltd.). He was handling Import and Export operations. He has
four members in his family and stays with his wife and two kids. His hobbies are

Mr. Karthikeyan R joined Logistics Infrastructure (W&D) - Coimbatore as
Meet Karthikeyan, a 43-year-old with a rich professional journey. He holds an MBA
degree and has a diverse work history, including working as clerical assistant at DRDO
and operational assistant in Balmer Lawrie. With a passion for football, cricket and
traveling, Karthikeyan enjoys spending time with his family - a loving wife and two
daughters. He's been dedicatedly managing Balmer Lawrie - Coimbatore Warehouse
for over 15 years as an outsourced employee, showcasing his commitment and
expertise.
Mr. Samudrala Vasudeva Rao joined Travel & Vacations - Hyderabad as
Vasudeva Rao Samudrala is a dedicated professional with a focus on Accounts and
Finance. With a Bachelors in Commerce, his journey over the course of 18 years since
2005 has seen him contributing to esteemed firms like Genius Consultants Ltd. and
Spectrum. Beyond the balance sheets, his family of four – including his supportive
wife and two wonderful children – is the cornerstone of his life. His spirit for
exploration comes to life when discovering new places and he loves immersing

Sampath Kumar belongs to Warangal in Telangana. Warangal is a city in the South
Indian state of Telangana. It was the capital of the Kakatiya dynasty from the 12th to
14th centuries, and has the Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillar temple and Bhadrakali

Mr. Dharamraj Rajendra Yadav joined Greases & Lubricants - Silvassa as Junior
Officer [Quality Assurance] on 01st August 2023.
Dharamraj Rajendra Yadav is an organised, detail-orientated Junior Officer - QA with
excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills with about three years experience in
analytical, quality control and general laboratory management in the oil industry. Apart
from a strong academic background in Chemistry, his exposure in the industry, training
and professional associations have equipped him to face more challenges in Laboratory
Quality Control and Management. He operates with the requirement of ISO 9001:2015
and is familiar with the requirements of ISO 17025 as per Laboratory Testing and
Calibration. He performs testing of raw material, in-process sample of base oil, additive
and finished goods as per ASTM method. His experience in monitoring of sampling,
sample handling, laboratory analysis and reporting / data interpretation has made him to
conclude that 90% laboratory result accuracy depends on the analyst. This is his

Mr. Deepak Kumar Thakur joined Travel & Vacations - Delhi as Junior Officer
Deepak Kumar Thakur belongs to Ballia (UP). He is currently living in Delhi with his

Shilpi Bhugra is a Delhi native who currently resides in Faridabad. She completed her

part of a joint family of five people, which includes her husband, 6-year-old child,

Mr. Lalit Kumar joined Chemicals - Kanpur as Junior Officer [Marketing] on
10th August 2023.
Lalit Kumar belongs to Meerut but is currently living in Kanpur. He completed his
Diploma in Leather Technology from Agra GLI in 2012 and also completed MBA
(Production) from SVSU Meerut in 2021. Prior to joining Balmer Lawrie in this role, he
was engaged at Balmer Lawrie through Xeam Venture and Genius Consultants Ltd. for
3.5 years. He also worked with Spectrum Talent Management Ltd. for 1.5 years. With
a keen interest in Sales and Marketing in Chemicals, R&D and Customer relationship,
he is geared up to grow the business. He has been working towards building a career

Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Gupta joined Travel & Vacations - Kolkata as Junior
Officer [Collection] on 10th August 2023.
Ashutosh Kumar Gupta lives in Kolkata. He completed his MCom from Purwanchal

happy to get this opportunity to share a few words on his life. After working sincerely in Balmer
Lawrie, his working place has practically become his second home. All his seniors and

Shanawaz Ahmed is born and brought up in Kolkata, the City of Joy. He completed

acquire his professional degree / diploma [Post Graduate Diploma in Management
(PGDM)] from Ideal Business School during 2009-11. He then entered the corporate
world by joining a Robotics Company named as PARI Robotics in which he was a
Member (Sales & Marketing) for their newly innovated product 'Mechanized Multi-
level Car Parking System' to tackle car parking issues in metro cities of India and
after serving few years in the similar trade, he moved on to join a Logistics company
in the year 2015 where he managed and handled the commercial and operational
areas. Now he is here with all Balmer Lawriens. He loves to travel and explore nature
with friends and family. He stays in a joint family with his parents. His advise to all -
“Give value to Time and Time will make you valuable one day."
Mr. Amit Panda joined Greases & Lubricants - Kolkata as Junior Officer [Stores &
Despatch] on 10th August 2023.
Amit Panda has been working with Balmer Lawrie (Grease & Lubricants, Kolkata plant) for
the last 07 years in an outsourced role and during these years, he got immense scope for
learning which has enhanced his many personal traits manifold. Moreover, he feels very
fortunate that he worked with very supportive and helpful persons and that in turn helped
him to grow within the organisation. Working in a very congenial environment in the
organisation, he has benefited in many ways that has directly impacted his performance,
behaviour and he learnt all about positivity of good interpersonal relationships. He

Mr. Palash Kole joined Greases & Lubricants - Kolkata as Junior Officer [IT]
on 10th August 2023.
Palash Kole is from Purba Gopinathpur, Hooghly, West Bengal. He has done his
graduation from Burdwan University and completed MCP, MCTS and MCSA with 9
years of professional experience. He started his professional career with few
Government projects like coastal census, pan card, voter card and UID as Support
Engineer and then got the chance to join the Greases & Lubricants Division as Junior
Associate IT in an outsourced role. In his new role now, he believes that he has
started his actual career with Balmer Lawrie. Here, he is working in a familiar
atmosphere. So, he is thankful to all his colleagues. He belongs to a rural farmer
family with six family members. If he calculates all the members of his joint family,
there are around 52 people in his family. He has special interest in IT and

Mr. Ananda Selvam R joined Chemicals - Manali, Chennai as Junior Officer

Ananda Selvam R is from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2012, he completed BE - EEE from
Bhajarang Engineering College in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. He likes playing and

G Sindhuja is from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She loves to introduce herself as a student,

Mr. Saidulu Kattaboina joined Cold Chain - Hyderabad as Junior Officer
Saidulu Kattaboina is from Nalgonda, Telangana. He completed his schooling from
Telangana State Board in 2008 and completed his graduation (BA) from TS University
in 2011. He has 12 years of experience in the field of retail supply chain. He started
his career with Reliance Retail Ltd. as a Logistics Assistant for the Warehouse
Department and then moved on to Future Value Retail (India) Ltd. as a Logistics
Executive for nearly 5 years. In the year 2017, he joined the Cold Chain unit as
Warehouse Associate. He believes that he would have a great experience with Balmer
Lawrie and would get to learn new things here. He wishes to to be successful and
thrive with the Company.
Mr. Puligilla Naresh joined Cold Chain - Hyderabad as Junior Officer
Naresh Puligilla is from Hyderabad. He is professionally qualified with MBA in Finance
and has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Accounts & Finance. His
father is a farmer and his mother, a homemaker is always there for them. He is
married to Renuka, and they have one daughter and one son. He joined as Junior
Officer (Accounts & Finance) in Vacations, Hyderabad and believes that he would
have a great experience with Balmer Lawrie and would get to learn new things here.

Mr. Yoganadh Ravi joined Industrial Packaging - Chittoor Junior Officer
After completing his BE Mechanical Engineering in 2013, Yoganadh Ravi worked in the
barrel manufacturing sectors, where he learned about production and quality on the
shopfloor. He also discovered the benefits of numerous new product development
such as Composite drums, Necked in drums and Tall drums for which Industrial
Packaging, Chittoor is well-known.
Mr. Roshan Raju joined Logistics Services - Trivandrum as Junior Officer
Roshan Raju is from Trivandrum, Kerala, also known as and referred to by Mahatma
Gandhi as the "Evergreen City of India". Trivandrum is also famous for the Shree
Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Maha Vishnu. He has an
MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Bharathiar University of
Tamil Nadu. He has also done BA in English Literature from Kerala University. He
started his career in logistics after completing a Diploma in Logistics Management.
He has total work experience of more than 7 years with various organisations in the
Logistics Operations Department and has worked closely in the areas of
consolidation, customs clearance, documentation, tracking, Icegate consol IGM, and
other procedures for Air Import and Export shipments. He is very enthusiastic and
passionate about his work. He is interested in sports and loves to play cricket and
football. He is looking forward to excelling in his current role for his personal and
professional growth while being resourceful, innovative and flexible.

Mr. P Manikanta Joined Logistics Services – Chennai as Junior Officer
Manikanta grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has friends from different origins and
he can communicate in four languages. He began his career at Balmer Lawrie in
2015 as an Operations Assistant after graduating. His dedication, ethics, integrity,
communication and professionalism led him to achieve the milestone of Junior
Officer. He constantly works on improving his skills to simplify processes. He is a
devoted caregiver for his mother and three younger siblings. He recently got
married, and is enjoying a peaceful married life. His deep love for cricket inspired
him to form a team with his childhood friends, and they proudly named themselves
the Red Bulls. Together, they actively participate in various tournaments to promote
physical activity and sportsmanship. He looks forward to continuing his contributions
at Balmer Lawrie and furthering his personal and professional growth, achieving
more milestones in his career.
Mr. Ramineni Raghavendra joined Industrial Packaging - Chittoor as Junior
Ramineni Ragavendra is from Mardeupalli village, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, which is
famous for temples and mangoes. He completed his post graduation, MBA in
SITAMS College, Chittoor. He started his career with Tirumala Milk Products at
Palamneru, Chittoor. He is very proud to tell all that he comes from an agricultural
background. In weekends, he participates in social and agricultural activities. His
hobbies include listening to music and build on his song collection. He is happy to
work with Mr. Antony and Mr Pravin Kumar Singh in Balmer Lawrie for the past 10
years in his role as outsourced personnel. He is thankful to everybody who supports

Mr. Ashish R joined Cold Chain - Patalganga, Navi Mumbai as Junior Officer
[Plant Operations] on 16th August 2023.
Ashish R is Junior Officer taking care of plant operations in the Cold Chain unit at
Patalganga. He studied Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and worked for three years
in Lakshmi Precision Technologies Limited in Maintenance as a mechanical staff. He
has hobbies like enjoying the natural surroundings, photography, trekking and be an
enigmatic person. He always tries to explore and learn new things for the benefit of
the organisation and himself.
Mr. Tushar Uttam Mankar joined Regional HR - West, Mumbai as Junior
Officer [Estate & Admin] on 21st August 2023.
Tushar Uttam Mankar is born and brought up in Mumbai. He studied Diploma in Civil
Engineering and has work experience of 8+ years in various areas like new
construction, repair and maintenance. In his opinion he is a valuable asset for his
company considering his behaviour and personal traits viz. optimistic, dynamic and
problem solver. He believes that success is the result of perfection, hard work,
