Chelhar is a town located 30 km east of Mithi and 60 km from Umerkot in Pakistan. It has a population of around 4000 people from various castes including Maheshwari, Malhi, and Bheel. Chelhar is known for its ranasir, bhujia, and batia snacks. However, it faces several issues like poverty, lack of infrastructure and education facilities. While NGOs are working to help develop the area, the government has also started providing more resources to Chelhar.
