1) New set of sensors to monitor children at
early stages:-
IRFD trackers in home with devices equipped with RFID sensors can be used
to create remote monitoring system to track Snoring Habits and sleep
patterns in infants and young children.
 Monitoring snoring can prevent hearing problems. If ignored,
adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy surgery might be needed.
 Approximately 10 percent of children snore regularly and about 2-4
% of the paediatric population has Obstructive sleep Apnea
(OSA).
 Recent studies indicate that mild sleep disorder breathing (SDB) or
snoring might cause many problems such as reduced behavioural
learning, less physical activity, increased urine production and
bedwetting, slow hormonal growth, and often high blood pressure.
Remote sensor monitoring system installation in schools to connect such
children using IFRD sensors and windows10.
 For children suffering from mental disability or blindness, a wearable
connected device that captures environment variables (surrounding
sounds, pictures around, alarm trigger) can be extremely useful.
 Data suggest that many disabled get victimized by sexual assaults.
Pressure monitoring when stylus pen is being used on touch screen devices.
Usually it is observed that pressure monitoring pattern can inform about
behavioral traits.

2) Integrated intelligence platform:-
Windows 10 software need to have “integrated intelligence ability track
platform” layer to track and study patterns displayed by disabled (or
unidentified disabled) such as:-
 Data collected by pressure applied using stylus and vibration patterns. This
data will further be analyzed to find a behavioral pattern.
 Data collected by pressure applied on fingerprint scanner and on touch
screen panel can be studied to find a behavioral pattern.
 Painting trends analysis:-
 painting communicates a lot about creativity.
 Colors and design patterns used can be studied.
 Speech analysis: Texture of sentences, flow, study area of words used,
frequency, knowledge, creativity, voice modulation, vibration, emotional
behavior etc. can be can be analyzed by proposed software platform to
predict behavioral analysis.
 Data collected by video games. Video games can provide lots of data
about personality. This data need to be collected by enhancing gaming
software and studying game results.
Integrated intelligence platform:-
“speech to intelligent information” software recommendation
 Recommendation to add a “speech to intelligent information decoder” in windows IoT.
 This will be very useful for:-
 Tracking text spoken by individuals and children, creating and studying the speech
patterns (voice, flow, modulation, vibration, repeated words etc.) and correlating this
information with behavioral patterns.
 Professionals such as Doctors can simply record patient communications, then
windows10 IoT solution can let doctors know common words or patterns sited in those
continuous communications over a period of time.
 Doctors can ask patient to send recorded answers to common questions before
meeting. This can save tremendous amount of time spent in seeing a patient and
asking common questions.
 Customer relationship managers can use customer feedbacks and notified about
common patterns by software. This improves efficiency and saves time.
 Lawyers- “speech to intelligent information decoder” platform can help o synthesize
information about clients in less time.

and students) through windows 10 enabled devices and
apps.
• Doctors can store patient data on cloud to study a pattern.
• Pre recoded fix set of questions can be sent to patients
before they visit doctors so that doctors save time in
meeting, and patient get more time to explain clearly
about their problems traits.
• Teachers can create personalized student development
plan by fetching student behavioral data using connected
devices and Microsoft software tools.
• Teachers and doctors can quickly get such data from any
device.

• Disabled usually do not communicate in a typical desired
manner. They have their own way of communication.
• Moreover, it’s very difficult to identify disability in early
stages.
• Continuous monitoring of their activities can provide rich
understanding of their thought processes and cognitive
abilities.
• Disabled need to be continuously tracked and monitored
for their safety and for people around them as well (in
extreme cases).
• For professionals, it’s not easy to understand such complex
cases quickly. They need rich set of data and history to
make a decision. Early detection can cure disease.

Executive Summary Proposal overview:- Empower Windows 10 IoT core with Microsoft technologies in improving lives of people with disability by proposing 3 wing solution:- 1) New set of sensors to monitor children at early stages:- 2) Integrated intelligence ability tracker software platform:- 3) Connecting professionals and clients- doctors, practitioners, teachers, patients through windows 10 enabled devices and apps on any platform.
  • 4. 1) New set of sensors to monitor children at early stages:- IRFD trackers in home with devices equipped with RFID sensors can be used to create remote monitoring system to track Snoring Habits and sleep patterns in infants and young children.  Monitoring snoring can prevent hearing problems. If ignored, adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy surgery might be needed.  Approximately 10 percent of children snore regularly and about 2-4 % of the paediatric population has Obstructive sleep Apnea (OSA).  Recent studies indicate that mild sleep disorder breathing (SDB) or snoring might cause many problems such as reduced behavioural learning, less physical activity, increased urine production and bedwetting, slow hormonal growth, and often high blood pressure. Remote sensor monitoring system installation in schools to connect such children using IFRD sensors and windows10.  For children suffering from mental disability or blindness, a wearable connected device that captures environment variables (surrounding sounds, pictures around, alarm trigger) can be extremely useful.  Data suggest that many disabled get victimized by sexual assaults. Pressure monitoring when stylus pen is being used on touch screen devices. Usually it is observed that pressure monitoring pattern can inform about behavioral traits.   • 5. 2) Integrated intelligence platform:- Windows 10 software need to have “integrated intelligence ability track platform” layer to track and study patterns displayed by disabled (or unidentified disabled) such as:-  Data collected by pressure applied using stylus and vibration patterns. This data will further be analyzed to find a behavioral pattern.  Data collected by pressure applied on fingerprint scanner and on touch screen panel can be studied to find a behavioral pattern.  Painting trends analysis:-  painting communicates a lot about creativity.  Colors and design patterns used can be studied.  Speech analysis: Texture of sentences, flow, study area of words used, frequency, knowledge, creativity, voice modulation, vibration, emotional behavior etc. can be can be analyzed by proposed software platform to predict behavioral analysis.  Data collected by video games. Video games can provide lots of data about personality. This data need to be collected by enhancing gaming software and studying game results.

Integrated intelligence platform:- “speech to intelligent information” software recommendation  Recommendation to add a “speech to intelligent information decoder” in windows IoT.  This will be very useful for:-  Tracking text spoken by individuals and children, creating and studying the speech patterns (voice, flow, modulation, vibration, repeated words etc.) and correlating this information with behavioral patterns.  Professionals such as Doctors can simply record patient communications, then windows10 IoT solution can let doctors know common words or patterns sited in those continuous communications over a period of time.  Doctors can ask patient to send recorded answers to common questions before meeting. This can save tremendous amount of time spent in seeing a patient and asking common questions.  Customer relationship managers can use customer feedbacks and notified about common patterns by software.   • 7. 3) Connecting professionals through windows 10 enabled devices or apps. • Doctors and teachers can connect to their clients (patient and students) through windows 10 enabled devices and apps. • Doctors can store patient data on cloud to study a pattern. • Pre recoded fix set of questions can be sent to patients before they visit doctors so that doctors save time in meeting, and patient get more time to explain clearly about their problems traits. • Teachers can create personalized student development plan by fetching student behavioral data using connected devices and Microsoft software tools. • Teachers and doctors can quickly get such data from any device.
  • 8. Problems that need to be addressed • Disabled usually do not communicate in a typical desired manner. They have their own way of communication. • Moreover, it’s very difficult to identify disability in early stages. • Continuous monitoring of their activities can provide rich understanding of their thought processes and cognitive abilities. • Disabled need to be continuously tracked and monitored for their safety and for people around them as well (in extreme cases). • For professionals, it’s not easy to understand such complex cases quickly. They need rich set of data and history to make a decision. Early detection can cure disease.

IBM created Watson for IoT 3. VMware and AWS announced new Hybrid Cloud Services E Opportunity: Integrated and digitally connected devices, and services, end to end solution. Software and services platform in Hybrid Cloud market which is expected to grow by $90 Billion US Dollars.

Marketing Strategy  Distribution Strategy and Marketing Own sales force  Own sales force should be used to target hospitals and education centers for adapting to windows 10 solutions.  Digital marketing should be used to lure end users (household customers who can buy embedded devices):  Microsoft has huge presence in household PCs, but need to penetrate dominating App based advertising and marketing strategy. Own sales force will be needed to adapt digital marketing strategy- social media, twitter.  Every second more than 5 new customers join social media. More than 50% of population is connected to internet.  Partnership with video streaming channels for advertising. Distributers:- OEM Distribution channels must be utilized most as they have the most strong presence for Microsoft OEM in selling windows embedded devices. Partners:-  Partners play big role in app as SaaS offering and licensing, hence partnership should be promoted and marketed well.  As Hybrid cloud market is worth of US$94 billion, more expenditure on partners training program will be needed.

Marketing Strategy- Pricing and Trend  Pricing strategy  Low: Only for App developers using Windows IoT core to develop apps and monetizing them  Medium: household embedded devices, with fewer storage support.  High: for Enterprises, and institutions such as Hospital chains.  Very high: For large enterprise, this depends on number of users expected to use cloud infrastructure.  Marketing Trend:-  With advanced remote sensing technologies, Windows IoT core (embedded core, API’s etc), and Azure IoT, it has become possible to connect physical data to computing resources, get informed, and to improve decision making process by using rich data lakes.  According to McKinsey report, public sector, education, and health sector contribute to one third of world GDP, and these sectors have been historically lagging in digital transformation. Now, digital transformation in industry is ramping up with connected hospitals, doctors, medical devices, and patients.

Target customers  Targeted or segmented audience of consumers or end users:- – Personal computer users – Households – Individual practitioners, – professional doctors – Institutions such as education centers, hospitals, rehabilitation centers. – Public sector- NGOs. – Application Developers who want to use Microsoft Windows features to write their own apps and monetize them.

Patients in such cases definitely need consistent monitoring and care. • By 2018, Europe will be largest digital and mobile health market (mHealth) worth $7.1 billion US dollars. (deloite), while global mHealth market will reach by $21.5 billion US dollars. • “More than one billion people in the world live with some form of disability, of whom nearly 200 million experience considerable difficulties in functioning”- WHO report. • McKinsey global institute reports on IoT and digital trends.
