Scope of work :
• Managing complete responsibility of SAM including PDO/SDO/SOM/Oman LNG
Organisation high level issues.
• Accountable for ensuring and enforcing compliance to the IT&S Incident
Management process within the regions
• Be the regional focal point and authority for incident management, engaging with
local stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution of process
• Accountable for the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of major incidents as
required
• Ensure that Service Delivery Organisations meet SLAs; fostering open
communications and ensuring the relationship is professional and properly regulated
• Collaborate with other Service Management teams within the Command Centre
(Event & Change) Team to ensure that events, alerts and changes are defined &
understood to enable faster response to incidents
• Leading all (Desktop, data centre, networking & servers) IT primary responsibility
including information security. Manage all IT service demand as per Global Shell IT
Policies. Manage & deliver day-to-day service delivery operations within the
Exploration & Production Middle-east and other region.
• Working with Global Infrastructure Desktop environment EDS (HP), call co-
ordination, Maintain LAN, wan, wifi-lan, and International -wan connectivity with
local ISP and AT&T, Hostage and storage – HNS (T-system).
• JV- Closely working with PDO IT/OLNG for some of the major IT Infrastructure
related Services that is linked with Shell.
• Manage design, test, and deploy new applications and technology.
• Defined and implemented a server consolidation strategy that evaluated and selected
standard server platforms, used Virtualization Technology to increase more
productivity and significant cost saving.
• Acting as single contact point for all major escalation.
• Monitoring and reporting of services and support against SLA and key performance
reports.
• Collecting, maintaining and analysing management information, budget
information’s and KPIs.
• Liaising with HP/AT&T/T-System through demand management and client interface
function to understand the demand and priorities for IT operation.
• IT Service, and change management.
• Working closely with Risk management to ensure infrastructure and security
compliance are in accordance with SOX and other audit standards, policies and
procedures.
• Maintained 99.95% uptime availability of data centre.
• Contracting and procurement.
• IT budgeting and controlling IT finance expenses..
• Maintain DR/BC plans that enable immediate recovery.
• Designing and implementing IT business demand management project.
• Working closely with all third party vendors.

• Risk assessment and mitigation to an enterprise model. Analysed the risk of
outsourcing data storage, desktop support, and network support.
• Providing strategic and tactical storage management technical support for both
software and hardware
• Evaluate mandatory, discretionary, and role-based access control methods in the
context of enterprise security and specific application. Develop a comprehensive
enterprise security, and identifying and prioritizing risk factors using a force ranking
exercise. Based on the risk assessment.
