*Accumulation and unhygienic handling of organic waste from
household and other institution create environmental problem
including emission of dangerous gasses to the atmosphere
through anaerobic fermentation.
*Methane is most poisonous gas generated by anaerobic
fermentation.
*Methane is 22 time more dangerous than carbon dioxide.
*The proper treatment of organic materials help to avoid such
emission.
*This treatment sometime provide renewable energy source like
biogas.
3. *
*What is biogas
*Suitable Place for Implementation
*Biomethanization Technology
*Biogas production from domestic waste

*Technical Detail
*Advantage of Biogas and its generation
*Conclusion

*Biogas refer to a mixture of different gasses produce by the
breakdown of organic matter in absence of oxygen.
*Biogas can be produce by raw material such as agricultural
waste, food waste, manure, sewage, plant waste and other
waste.
*Biogas contain methane, Co2, and some water vapour.
*Biogas is a renewable energy source.
6. *
*Anaerobic Biomethanisation/ Bio gas help to treat the organic
waste material hygienically.
*Through this biogas, a valuable renewable energy and organic
fertilizer can be produce.
*Treated biomaterial, coming out from the Digester of the
treatment plant, in the form of liquid or solid can be use as very
good organic fertilizer
*Use of biogas as cooking fuel help to reduce the use of fossil
fuels, this way the emission at the time of burning of fossil fuels
can be minimize.
7. *
*A lots of waste is produced from home which is harmful for
environment
*Through the installation treatment biogas plantation of domestic
type bio waste the emission of methane can be controlled to a
considerable extent, to achieve this goal every house should
come forward to install biogas plant.
*The human excreta discharge from domestic household are
converted into biogas by applying anaerobic digestion.
*Traditional septic tank are replaced by this plant. Through the
installation of latrine attach plant human excreta can be treated
hygienically and biogas is generated from the plant.
*It is a very good fuel for domestic cooking and lighting.

*Biogas is clean and renewable source of energy.
*This organic fertilizer help to minimize the use of chemical
fertilizer.
*It help to control deforestation by way of replacing firewood
with biogas.
*It prevents the health hazards of smoke in poorly ventilated
rural households that use dung cake and fire-wood for
cooking.
12. *
*Advantages of Biogas
Generation
*Biogas generation reduces soil and air pollution.
*It also reduces global warming by converting methane into
energy.
*It not only produces biogas, but also gives us nutrient rich
slurry that can be used for crop production.
*It helps to keep the environment clean, as there would be no
open heap of dung or other waste materials that attract flies,
insects and infections

*The present study has revealed that anaerobic digestion of kitchen
waste is not only one of the solid waste management technique but
it could also be adopted as biogas production source which will be
used as a clean as well as it will be eco friendly too.
*We have discussed about some methods to convert biodegradable
waste into a renewable source of energy like Biomethanization,
anaerobic digestion.
*At last we discussed about the advantage of biogas and is
generation.
*So Biogas generation technique should be adopted by every
households and firms because it is the demand of today’s world.
